My partner and I shared two burgers and Cajun fries. Better than any restaurant burger we’ve had in a long time. You would never expect that from a takeout place. Soooo good!!
We loved them! The burgers were perfect thickness, good quality and toppings/ buns were delicious. Worth the money. We went back for shakes. Definitely recommend if you live local or are passing by.

We ate here this week for the first time. Service was friendly and helpful to a first timer, server exceeded my expectations with wonderful customer service. As a person with high blood pressure, after having a burger at one of those chain joints, I get swollen hands the next day. NOT with my Backwoods Burger Mountaineer burger!!! Wonderful flavor, seasoned wisely, stayed hot on my way home to eat. My husband had the chili dogs, great chili and dog. Now the onion rings and fries are EXCEPTIONAL, crispy, not too salty, both just perfection. We will be coming back. Highly recommend, you will not regret.

Really want to like this place, on our first 2 visits after backwoods opened the “jaybird” or otherwise known as a nashville chicken sandwich were incredible. Very saucy and good meat to bread ratio. However the last 5-6 times we have gone hoping for the same sandwich we have been severely let down. Seems nowadays you get a chicken tender worth of meat on a massive roll. The nashville that use to be over abundant is nearly totally missing. It literally looks like a few drops are placed on the meat and thats it. Compared to the pictures of the jaybird on the website it doesnt even come close to the expectation they present you with. Ive even had my money taken on a online order after the website stated they were open, drove down from naples just to find them totally shut down and gone. Still keep trying them hoping for that first time experience but continually keep being dissapointed. Seems like it would just be better to drive to portland for a better nashville at this point.

Over cooked, dried onion and lots of oil. Would not send anyone to eat here. Sad to have spent $40 on two burgers, fries and onion rings. No drinks
