We ate here this week for the first time. Service was friendly and helpful to a first timer, server exceeded my expectations with wonderful customer service. As a person with high blood pressure, after having a burger at one of those chain joints, I get swollen hands the next day. NOT with my Backwoods Burger Mountaineer burger!!! Wonderful flavor, seasoned wisely, stayed hot on my way home to eat. My husband had the chili dogs, great chili and dog. Now the onion rings and fries...
Really want to like this place, on our first 2 visits after backwoods opened the “jaybird” or otherwise known as a nashville chicken sandwich were incredible. Very saucy and good meat to bread ratio. However the last 5-6 times we have gone hoping for the same sandwich we have been severely let down. Seems nowadays you get a chicken tender worth of meat on a massive roll. The nashville that use to be over abundant is nearly totally missing. It literally looks like a few drops...

We loved them! The burgers were perfect thickness, good quality and toppings/ buns were delicious. Worth the money. We went back for shakes. Definitely recommend if you live local or are passing by.
