Black raspberry frappe was YUMMY Still love their ice cream so much that I drove out on this rainy night to get some. They say they close at 8:00 p.m. it is 7:00 p.m. they're closed. I am very disappointed after driving 17 minutes to get here

Local ice cream icon that has been around forever. Two scoops today of grapenut and chocolate peanut butter cookie. Inventive tasty flavors and friendly counter service. Make this place a must visit.

The girl at the window was polite. I won't be coming back, there were 3 mistakes. I addressed one but we didn't bother with the other two. Oh well. Wasn't a fulfilling ice cream outing. Giggly girls in the back couldn't focus or something.

I know there are really great ice cream places in many spots in Maine. Having tried a few (but by no means all!) Beals is excellent for flavor choice (30+), taste, quality and price. I rate them in the top of the bunch. Go and get some!
