Not very great. When you first walk in the first thing you notice is this place has no heat. What? I was told the heat is not working. The place is dirty in the customer area. Order a simple sweat/sour chicken. The ss sauce is junk. The egg rolls are very oily. Would not stop again.

Very disappointing... When the white rice is the high point of the meal, you know you are in trouble. Used to frequent Jan Mee in Portland, ME often. It was my go-to place for Chinese food. Moving to Gorham, I had hoped that Jan Mee II would be similar. Except for the name, everything was hugely disappointing. Shrimp with lobster sauce had decent flavor but way, way too watery. Shredded iceberg lettuce as a main ingredient in the chicken chow mein is a big mistake. The tid bits appetizer was mediocre. Teriyaki chicken and beef were overcooked and dry. Chicken fingers were doughy and greasy. Overall, a complete waste of a $40 meal. Normally, I eat at a place at least twice before posting a review. I won't waste the money on a second meal as there was no part of the food that showed it might be redeemable.

Unfortunately we had higher hopes for this place being in business for so long. Food had absolutely no flavor, almost a watery taste. I had the orange chicken and it had no sauce, just plain fried chicken. Egg rolls and soup were the same. I do not recommend this place at all. Hopefully they will get the hint and change the way they prepare there food.

It would have been good if we had gotten our whole order. We got our food home, nearly 20 minutes, we realized we were missing two items. No big deal. It happens. We called, they said to come back. When we arrived back, they ask to see the whole order. Sorry but why should we inconvenience everyone because they didn't assemble our order correctly. So instead of making it right, they wanted us to pay again for food we already paid for. An order of over $100 and a simple mistake to fix. Never again. Not after a inexcusable interaction.
