Seriously, what's not to love at Blue Pig? All the different dishes I've had have been great. I literally have not had a bad dish here. My top recommendations are (not in any order) are: Corned Beef Hash, Corned beef Benedict, most of the specials (always check for specials), biscuits and gravy, bloody Marys, French toast... I'm sure I'll have more to add since we're working our way through the menu. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‚ We're taking our time through the menu so we survive to see any specials. 🤣 Anyways... Getting side tracked. The food here is outstanding. The staff is incredible. It's our go to place to take people who come to visit us. This is the spot they remember.

This place does come with warnings. First - there is a very important rule. Do not sit at a dirty table. Don't be an ass. These ladies work hard. Wait your turn. Second - there's probably a wait on the weekends because everyone loves this place. They have an honor system type of wait list. You just wait your turn. I've never seen this be a problem.

Overall this is a pretty awesome spot with delicious food and outstanding staff. Also the portions are sizable. This place definitely throws off its own vibe. A must try.

Love coming to the blue pig! I travel a few towns over almost every weekend to come here. Every time some one ask’s where should we get breakfast? This is it! Won’t be disappointed

This is a two part review… first about the food and second about the owners.

The food: my boyfriend and I have been dying to try out the blue pig for some time now. We were able to get there this past Sunday and wow, just wow!! Every single thing on the menu looked amazing. We had deliciously flavored mimosas, their amazing boozy espresso, the spicy pulled chicken and a brisket Benedict special. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time… we will be back!!

The owners, Paul and Brianna: the nicest and most kind humans! We rode our motorcycles there, something we haven’t done much this summer due to our crazy schedules.. after our wonderful meal, my boyfriend’s brand new bike wouldn’t start. We went back in asking for a couple tools to try and get it started. Both Brianna behind the bar and Paul in the kitchen took time out of tending to their very busy business to help us. Paul brought out tools, a jumper pack, and tried to help get the bike started. When it wouldn’t start, they moved their own vehicle and let us push the bike into their spot where their cameras would be on it overnight while we worked on getting a tow. To stop what they were doing and take the time to help us out while running a busy restaurant just blew us away. We are both business owners and understand the value of not only going above and beyond, but just being kind humans.

The blue pig is our new spot, and we will be recommending to everyone we know!

The wait might get long but the food and portion sizes makes it so worth it food was amazing

My wife and I have been going here since they opened. I am guilty of almost never remembering to post reviews.
Way overdue on this one.
The staff is friendly, and the food consistently great.
Real, actual house smoked meats!
The coffee is good & strong!
A true local mom & pop restaurant.

I stopped in here Monday 9/16/24 and ordered food to go.
I'm visiting Portland and have noticed an abundance of corned beef hash reviews claiming "best of my life". This place had many accolades and a good menu, but I screwed up. I ordered the Irish Benedict which was with corned beef and completely missed it was just corned beef, not hash. It was still great and included potatoes, but wasn't what I was expecting. The corned beef hash meal includes eggs and toast
I will say the poached eggs were beautiful (for the life of me, I can't make them), but the hollandaise sauce was.... off?? They put it in a separate container thankfully, but yeah usually the sauce is what makes a Benedict incredible. This was just not good and I stuck with no sauce. The corned beef certainly added flavor. Maybe they didn't use real butter or add enough lemon.

Also this isn't really a diner. I ordered at the bar which was where everyone was mainly seated.
