I have a wrinkled pickle, so I definitely had to stop at this place to see what it was all about. First off, it wasn’t what I expected.But If you’re looking for a place to have good food and drinks, this place is for you. It has a leg up on the competition nearby.Great little place to have some casual fun with people you love and want to sleep with.Service and staff was 5 stars.Edit: I just realized it’s pronounced The Pickled Wrinkle. Not the other way around. Doesn’t matter, I wasn’t disappointed.

Frig rite! Don't trust the h8rs. Most of these schlubs giving two and one stars are the type who give $2 dvd's from the bin at best buy for xmas. Pickled Wrinkle slaps harder than a nor'easter ripping up the rock studded rugged Maine coast in November. It's got more moxie than a single mom raising four kids in Lubec. We ate there two times in three days. Get the dulce and the lobstah roll. Drink some good beer. Talk to the cool bar tender slinging more suds than a laundromat. It's a gem of a spot that provides hearty fresh caught nourishment and is well worth the pennies. My grandmother used to say "you can eat for five bucks and pay fifty bucks in plumber fees, or you can eat for fifty bucks and pay nothing to the plumber." Good grub is always worth the sheckles.

Down home Downeast food in a lively atmosphere. The scallops and bacon flatbread was delicious. I especially like that they feature Maine craft beers and ciders. Night Nurse Imperial Stout from Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth was great!
Back to a previously reviewed spot and the food and service once again was just fantastic! I went with the special of the day, bacon cheeseburger sliders. I substituted tots for the fries and that was a Greta. Hoi e. The tots are crispy, tasty and worth the mention. This is my new go to spot anytime I visit Prospect Harbor and Gouldsboro!
