Food is delicious, especially the crab cakes!!! Server was excellent and even the manager came out to visit with us a minute to make sure we were satisfied with everythg! Highly recommended!

I have visited Anglers Restaurants in Searsport and in Hampden, and every time is a great experience. The service is ideal, prompt, and very courteous. The quality of the food is impeccable. Everything is cooked to perfection; flavorful, piping hot. I can't recommend them enough!

Excellent food, but if your on a budget ask the market price so you don’t have to call an ambulance after dinner. But it was very good and priced at fair market oh the fried clam were cooked to perfection, a light golden brown, not over cooked. Typing this makes me want to go back.

We go to Anglers in Hampden whenever we want great seafood. We prefer the light batter they use on the seafood. I don't bother to order scallops at any other restaurant, because they just aren't as good as Anglers!

Ordered the scallop dinner, suppose to be the large ones buttons yheu were mixed. They did taste good but the BIG complaint is the steak tip dinner that was maybe 1/4 serving that included the onions and mushrooms. $65 later with such tiny portion. Not impressed and don't eat out much but now we know why!!

First time here. Food was good without a long wait. Our server Amelia was amazing! Very friendly and attentive without hovering. She took the time to check ingredients for my allergy to mustard, even though it was busy. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Service is superb. Servers are so friendly and make you feel welcome. They are very good at their job...especially Hannah :). Food is delicious and generously portioned. Just ask before you buy dessert to see which ones are fresh!

First time visiting Angler's. Very impressed! We shared the haddock dinner and an order of fried zucchini. Plenty of food for two!! For sides, we had fries and pickled beets. Both were excellent, especially the beets! Service was great and Plenty of parking.
My husband and I enjoyed the clam chowder. I liked the sweet potato fries,however the fried whole belly clams were not good and they were over priced. We kept swatting away a fly while we were eating. It was quite annoying.

The food and service have always been good here. It can be a bit pricey (paid $30 for a lobster roll and fries last night and our total bill for 2 people was over $60), but it's based on market value. Definitely one of the better places to get quality seafood in the area.

Grilled salmon is served well done (overcooked) and this is mentioned on the menu, so remember to ask for it medium rare or medium if you don't want it dry and overcooked. The New England clam chowder is rich and creamy white, not like some of the clam chowders on the coast which are lower in fat and more opaque in color.

We came for lobster, but found prices too high so we chose some fried seafood instead. Found the batter to be very greasy. Staff was very friendly though. Parking lot was large enough for small class A rigs.

My seafood platter was tiny as well as some pieces were soggy. They may have sat under a heat lamp. The french fries definitely said under a heat lamp or someplace as they were barely warm. The service was fine and everyone friendly but certainly nothing special. It’s been few years since my last visits. I kept returning because of how good the food was, the prices, portions and the better than average customer service and attitude. They were not busy but service slow. No excuse for warm food. My date had a lobster roll they was very very loose and wet. Nothing special she said. Being on a date I really didn’t want to send my food back so i slogged on.
