Visiting this place all the way from Texas! Best breakfast spot in the entire state of Maine! Awesome staff, awesome food and awesome coffee, what more could you want in life?!?!

Very friendly from the moment you step through the door. We had a little wait with it being so popular and busy. Staff are great and food was the same. Coffee was great and endless. Highly recommend if you’re passing by.

This place really is a hidden gem. Such a great traditional homestyle breakfast joint. Their corned beef hash is the absolute best I've ever had. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars just because it's a small restaurant and can get crowded, but otherwise is so cute.

We had heard a lot of great things about this place and were really looking forward to trying it, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype for us.

The eggs were pale and lacked flavor, and they were cooked with so much oil that they ended up quite slimy. The biscuits and gravy were just okay — a touch of sage came through, but overall it was underseasoned and very light on sausage. The biscuits themselves were a bit dense but decent.

The coffee tasted like standard restaurant coffee — weak and nothing memorable. When we ordered unsweetened tea, we were surprised to just get a bottle of Pure Leaf with a glass, rather than freshly brewed tea.

The food came out quickly, but overall, the quality and flavor just didn’t match what we’d heard.

Some of the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The eggs Benedict was so good and the homemade jam and toast is incredible

Best place we have eaten. We are here from Texas and we're surprisingly impressed with the food. Don't let the outside fool ya.

Coffee Break Café is a classic spot that never disappoints. The food is affordable, the service is straightforward, and it’s exactly the kind of place you can count on. No frills—just good food and a welcoming vibe.

If you're looking for great tasting comfort food at an affordable price, this is it. Breakfast was served hot and with generous portions. They also sell homemade baked goods; we bought two for later.

Third trip back to my husband‘s home state of Maine and we found this wonderful restaurant with breakfast served all day. Between the strawberry rhubarb jelly and the grilled biscuits and the incredible food served by a very friendly and attentive staff we ended up coming back the very next day and will probably frequent this café several more times before we leave the state. 💚🎶💚

The food was sooo good! Eggs Benedict were perfect… and the white toast out of this world. Getting our food was quick, my coffee was topped off at the right time. Once you come in the bakery smells will want you to get one of each.

I Heard about firing the kid for speaking up against a creep. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a gem. I'd say this establishment should be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but they'd have to raise the prices. Looking forward to returning.
