Great little place. We stayed in a cozy little room and drove to Acadia in the mornings. Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are clean. It's about a 45min drive to Acadia, which isn't bad at all.Nearby activities: Acadia National ParkFood & drinks: Breakfast was awesome. Usually at bed and breakfasts you eat what they make. Here our waitress gave us a menu and we picked whatever we wanted. I had blueberry pancakes and bacon one morning and a salmon pepper omelette the next.

My family booked Thanksgiving dinner reservation (11/23/23) at a cost of &70 each. We expected an outstanding meal and were extremely disappointed. Mashed potatoes and squash were cold and lumpy. Turkey consisted of little chunks primarily dark. Perhaps a tablespoon of gravy on potatoes. My own fault for not ordering white meat only on my plate. Ham was tasty but bread stuffing inedible and broccoli not cooked. Soup & sweet bread served but no salad or dinner rolls. I left hungry! We've been Crocker House fans for 30 years and this meal disappointed us all. Tiny slices of pie for dessert served with huge dollop of cream. Should have been the other way. We were so shocked by our meal (my husband got a huge hunk of skin on his plate rather than meat). The waitress at least brought my husband some white meat to take home when she saw what was on his plate. Wait staff was wonderful. We will never go there again for Thanksgiving and will never pay that price again

Over the years the Crocker House has become one of our go to places for a special dinner. Due to various reasons we hadn’t made it to the restaurant this year until last night. We were pleasantly surprised by all the renovations they had done over the past couple of years. The country inn setting and updated dining room are quite wonderful and the food was tasty and well presented. The wine list was well appointed and appreciated. We had a great dinner and look forward to our next visit. Zach and his family have done a great job and have made an iconic gathering place even better.

If you are in the area, you should definitely consider at least one night in this beautiful place! It is a great starting point for day trips to Acadia national park. Hope to be lucky and you will get a chance to have a quick chat with Joshua and try his worldclass blueberry pancakes for breakfast. But even if not, this place is full of love and cozyness - it has all the „staying at your grandma‘s“ charme, without the creepiness ;).

A hidden gem in Hancock County. Beem there a few years ago, but what a difference! The place looks amazing. Had reservations to celebrate a birthday. The cocktails and meals were fantastic. Look forward to visiting again.

What a gem! Everything about the Inn is top notch, especially if you enjoy more traditional decor and a friendly atmosphere. I wish I could stay longer.

Our family has been coming to this lovely restaurant for years. It's a gem tucked on Hancock Point that is a must see. The food is delicious; in particular the steak au poivre, seafood pasta, and salmon are out of this world. The Inn has recently come under new ownership and they've elevated the restaurant/inn to the next level. The interior furnishings have been modernized; the new owners have added an expanded bar and bar menu and an EV charging station. A spacious outdoor seating area was also added with live music on the weekends. Brunch is available on the weekends and it's delicious (french toast, pancakes, omelettes). The new owners and chef are gracious, warm, and invested in the community. The staff and customer service are always top notch. It's definitely worth making the trip to experience this special place.

We had reservations. Showed up a little early and we were seated immediately. Service was great! We were unsure about the wine, and we were given a taste test..thank you! Our server was fabulous! He paid attention to detail! Medical conditions were accomodated..thank you! Our food was great! We started with the Duck Wonton. They were delicious! We had the Chinese Pepper Beef and Filet Mignon...delicious and done to perfection !! Large portions!! For dessert we had the Maple Walnut Cheesecake and the Lemon Layer Cake. WOW!!! They were scrumptious!!! I was surprised with a birthday candle in the cheesecake and serenaded with the whole dining room singing "Happy Birthday!" Thank you for the wonderful dinner and memories!! We will be back!!!
