Absolutely amazing dining experience! The menu isn’t huge, but the food is absolute perfection. From delicious appetizers, wonderful, entrées, and delicious desserts. We’ve lived in the area for over a decade, but just tried Ironbound for the first time on Labor Day weekend, and we will definitely be back!
Ironbound is more than restaurant. It’s a Maine experience. Staff are as friendly and genuine as you would expect Maine folk to be. The food was beyond excellent from the crab curry soup to the chocolate torte. The ambience is sophisticated yet comfortable. There are so many interesting artifacts placed strategically to keep the conversation going between courses. Our first experience at Ironbound but not our last.
We had a wonderful experience at Ironbound. Our server Sonny was probably the best waiter we’ve ever had. The food was five star as was the atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!
