This may have been my favorite restaurant in all of Maine during our trip. We stopped randomly on our drive back from the Schoodic Peninsula for dinner. The gluten free options were amazing. I had maple butter cornbread, fish and chips, and leek soup—all gluten free and savory. This place is a gem 💎

Shouldn't even be writing this, but - best place in Maine east of Portland. Hidden gem.

Amazing food with wonderful staff and atmosphere right on Route 1. Dinner was so good we went back twice for more. The clam and fennel sausage gratin appetizer will be cherished a lifetime.

We are at the restaurant. Service was spot on. Funny , attentive and knowledgeable.
Oysters were the best I’ve had.
You shouldn’t miss the place
My wife and I stayed in the Acadia National Park area for 4 days, and this place was BY FAR the best restaurant we ate at the entire time we were in the area. Most of the seafood restaurants in Bar Harbor (and nearby towns) are overpriced tourist traps, with the same stale menus. Inbound (on the other hand) had a very fun menu with a variety of yummy seafood dishes you won’t find at the other restaurants - like a fish version of chicken pot pie. We ate at the outdoor terrace area, which had very nice views of the nearby woods - but the indoors looked very cute, too. This place is perfect for anyone who’s looking for a local taste of Maine, with great seafood that you won’t find at the tousty spots. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Great food in Hancock. Freshly caught oysters and clams were excellent appetizers. Local mussels over fries had a special flavor (jalapenos)
Food and drinks: Great food and super nice staff

Everything about this place is phenomenal!! Waukeag Neck oysters are some of the best I’ve ever had. Maple butter cornbread, steak special, fish and chips, shrimp and scallop pappardelle, smoked finnan haddie…everything was outstanding. Highly recommend and will be back soon!!

Book a table, you'll be glad you did. Superb.
We ate dinner here on the patio. The food was delicious. They have cornbread as an appetizer, which is unique. You get your own little cornbread loaf in a cast iron pan. The patio "floor" is small, loose stones like gravel, so may not be good for someone with mobility issues.

We are visiting from Michigan with another couple, and we enjoyed dinner so much we went back the next night. Great service, with amazing food. Would highly recommend.

We’ve been coming here since we moved to the area 4 years ago and have never been disappointed! Although I think my meal last night was the best yet - a prawn and paneer masala special. My husband and I love eating here. Interesting dishes, some downeast classics and a great cocktail and wine selection. Highly recommend!!

Ironbound was the best part of our trip to Acadia. A local recommended it, so we went for dinner on our last night and were blown away. The food was absolutely delicious! We got the cheesy truffle fries to start, my fiancé got the smash burger, and I got the mussels. This was the first, and probably only moment I was glad my fiancé doesn’t like seafood because I didn’t have to share. I wanted to slurp up all the broth at the end. We also loved the atmosphere and staff. We will definitely be returning on our yearly trip to Acadia.
