Last evening I called into the Handy Stop and placed an order. I went there to pick my order up and get a few other things. while I was paying for my order a young female came from the kitchen area and stated that I never ordered fries with my meals. I then stated that I ordered two clam dinners, and to the best of my knowledge those should each come with fries. She then stated that I didn't order the fries.i said I did one with regular fries and the other with curly fries. At that time one of the young males came from the kitchen and said it'll just be a few minutes so he could get my fries. I thanked him and thought that it was pretty much over. I grabbed my soda and smokes and took them to my car and returned to inside the store waiting for my clams and fries. After going back inside I am standing at the end of one of the Isles and the same female that approached me before was running her mouth to the other employees that were working with her. then the young man working the cash register actually went to her and said ... ah he is here and hears what you are saying about him. she then we t to the left out of site laughing. I didn't say anything to her I did though go back to the counter and asked for the owners phone number. He got if for me and apologized. I took the number from him and backed up still waiting for my food. My food came out and the guy who brought it out of the kitchen. said he was sorry and that he gave me an extra fry for each of my orders. I was in the process of thanking him and reaching for my food when out of the kitchen area comes the girl who not only called me a liar but also the same girl who was running her mouth about me. And she started in again running her mouth. it was then that I decided to stand firm and give it back to her, ten fold. I get home and tried to call the owner only to get a voicemail. I left my name and said I'd like to discuss what happened at his store. He just called me back and after I told him what had taken place, he, Doug the owner advised me that I am no longer aloud in his store because when I lashed out at her before I left the store I scared all of his employees. Well, I can live with that although I don't believe he is in the right. is the young girl that stuck her nose into business that didn't have anything to do with my order not allowed there any more? I highly doubt it.

We bought steaks here over the weekend as we have the past few weeks and they were amazing!! This is where we are getting our meat from now on. It is clean, staff makes you feel appreciated for being their customer, and the man at the meat counter was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Our entire family prefers this store to any other.
