It's been about 5 years since I've been here, so I was looking forward to going back since I had to move from the area. Things have definitely changed. The "wings" had a good sauce, but to call them wings was sad. They were more like chicken nuggets, or chicken munchkins. The only place that I know of with good wings north of Bangor is in Madawaska as of recently.The service was decent and the atmosphere was average.

"The Slice" in Island Falls deserves every star possible! We recently indulged in their all-you-can-eat wing night and were blown away. From the succulent BBQ wings to the flavorful garlic Parmesan and the delightful sweet Thai chili wings, each bite was a taste bud symphony. The cheese curds were crispy perfection, and the onion rings were the ideal combination of crunchy and savory.What makes "The Slice" stand out is not just the delicious food but also the inviting atmosphere and friendly service. The anticipation of returning for their Friday night fish fry is already making our mouths water. If you're in Island Falls and craving exceptional food, "The Slice" is an absolute must-visit!Thank you for a great night out!

We had (11 yof us) lunch here today, food was fantastic. Service was fantastic, great waitress (wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a shout out)Highly recommend The Slice!! It’s a hidden gem. Thank you all!

We thought we would try a place we have never been to before .we went around 5 they close at 7 .omg the waitress was horrible .we ordered appetizers she brings them to the table no silverware no plates .I guess we were to eat it right off the table .so I had to ask for the plates and silverware.my husband ordered a pizza I ordered a steak and cheese sub.almost 6:30 still no food so I finally went and asked her if she forgot us ..with her attitude she said NO I had 3 tables before you ..ummmm NO U DIDNT the other two tables came in after we sat down .so she brings over the pizza no plate .I had to ask for the plate .So we asked for boxes took our food to go .she stands looking at us .I said well I need the bill ….I’m. guessing it must of been her first day .she said well do u want it printed off .I need to know how much it is .Worst place I’ve ever eaten at ..

Horrible service waited over an hour and half for our food .only 2 other tables with people that came in after we did .they got their food we still waited and waited .when the food finally came I had to ask for silverware and extra plates .then when it was time to pay she didn't give me a bill .just kept looking like I'm waiting I said well I need the bill .she says WHAT you want a receipt,I said I need to know how much it was .she just tells me. i paid it but thinking that seemed to be a lot for what we had .,when I got home I pulled the menu up and added what we had my price was $30 less then her price .. If you eat there beware I think what she did was illegal. make sure you check your bill ..I'll never eat there again
If you want to get take out on a Friday night don't bother. They will put you on hold for 20 minutes then disconnect the line so you only get a busy signal for the next hour until it is to late to go anywhere else because the grocery store closes at 7 and there is absolutely no other places to eat unless you want to drive to Houlton.

Went to the Slice for a private gathering. The food was absolutely fantastic! I had an amazing bacon cheeseburger! It was mosterous and delicious! The homemade fries were tasty as well!The lower gathering area is a bit echoey and made it a bit difficult to hold a conversation with lots of others doing the same. Next time we visit, we'll have to check out the main dining area.

PLEASE don’t get the cheddar mushroom steak burger.what ensued was the most horrendous gas that could only be described by watching a documentary on auswitchz and three hours later a visit to the porcelain throne that had me longing for deathwaterfall of demon tears left my hole burning and sides weak from the stress off letting it looseanyways the fried pickles are good
