Went to bishops store in Jackman , Maine today Saturday August 16, 2025 . Ordered food the young girl taking order wasn’t listening ; had to repeat order 5–6 times ( totally ridiculous ) . Then paid for the food order ; and the male cashier forget to give me my $8.00 in change due to not paying attention . Finally got our Italian sub with very BROWN wilted lettuce on sub . Showed the food preparer the brown lettuce . Also their bread is horrible . I give my experience a huge F —IN FAILURE & very LOUSY experience . On a scale of 1 to 10 ; and 1 being the lowest that’s my rating . Horrible experience today !
I was in Jackman for 3 nights, this past weekend, & the pizza is SO GOOD here, I ordered it 2 out of those 3 nights! The night I arrived, there was leftover pizza, that was ordered earlier. It was a large pepperoni, sausage, onion & black olive…a perfect amount of toppings, I might add! And the sauce, HOLY COW, I’m still raving about the sauce, 2 days later, to people in Waterville, that have never even heard of Bishop’s! 🤣 The second night, I chose one of their specialty pizzas, called the “Bish-Mac”. I absolutely LOVE “Big Mac” or “cheeseburger” pizzas, & order them often. Cappza’s (Waterville), & Al’s (Skowhegan) are the same, & were always my favorites…I no longer order them from Sonny’s (Fairfield), because they use just plain mayo, & put lettuce all over the top of the pizza! Bishop’s took over my favorite “cheeseburger pizza”, with their “Bish-Mac”…there’s just something about big chunky dill pickles, & thousand island dressing, on a pizza! Keep it up, Bishop’s; you guys are certainly in the discussion, for best pizza in Maine!! 🤘
A really nice looking store with a lot of hunting/fishing gear + a great selection of food. I would have liked to rock a new hunting beanie with there logo on it but found out that 25$ USD was a little bit steep of a price… felt like a souvenir trap more than encouraging a local business.
Nothing more tone deaf than selling punisher stickers in this current moment in our country.
Best place to fuel your car and your stomach before going to Quebec!
Nice people and the Hawaiian pizza we got was really good! Great crust and very fresh and hot.
Love this place ♡
always stop by when I'm in maine.. wondering where the American flag is
Good selection of grand and go food. Sneaky good pizza. Also a nice made to order food counter with a lot of nice options.
Alos some local goodies, outdoor products, and some must have items if you left them at home, i.e., toothpaste, ibuprofen, and other toiletries.
Nice place
Always a pleasure to do business with the kind employees. This little store has a bit of everything . Thank you.

Great little “ Big” store. Always something unique to offer. I really appreciate the variety & quality of the car quality stickers they offer- a few adorn my Toyota as well as my travel luggage. Nice people. God food- really enjoy their pudding and premade salad dishes ( like tuna and pasta etc ). Really good selection of hunting/ prepping/ survival supplies as well as clothing- footwear and gifts etc. When passing through I usually grab a cool sticker or two ( or four) something to eat and a little something for my three girls. Great little place with huge variety of items
Our favorite stop on the 201! Great pizza!
Great convince store with a classic rural Maine sub/pizza shop. Wide selection of food, drinks, and surprisingly outdoor gear.
If you’re in ME and just passing through wanting some hot comfort food, they have great pizza! Nice size store, well run, great variety of food, drinks and fun souvenir shopping.
Wonderful people offering everything you would need when visiting or passing thru town. If not for their muffins in the morning I would starve! (Or maybe I could fit in skinny jeans)
