Food is excellent. Service slow due to staffing issues in the town, but we'll worth the wait.

Unfortunately I've had to downgrade the rating. Meal we had was one of the worst. Everything was barely warm. Egg rolls were covered in fryer oil, shepherds pie was tasteless, bland, and used instant potatoes that tasted like water. While we were there 2 other people sent back meals.

I would give this place 5 star, yet if you have a large group (11 of us), they will not split the check up. I've eaten all over and never heard of this. It was not convenient, considering some of us only had credit cards. On a great note, our young waitress was on top of her game! She mentioned how they were short of staff, and she was working so much without much time off! Impressive young lady who knows the meaning of work. The food was great! I recommend it.

A gem of a roadside restaurant in snowmobile country. If you like fried foods, you are in heaven here. The breading on the haddock was thin, light, and crispy. The fish was very tender, and there are maybe 10 pieces of it in the basket ($17). The onion rings were from frozen bags but were fried just right: golden brown with no burnt taste or that hard shell you would find in other places. The French fries are made to order and also fried perfectly, especially if you like those crunchy, thoroughly fried through ones. You’ll definitely taste the potato and the grease when you bite it these translucent pieces. Whoever is in the kitchen today knows how to fry things!

The grilled chicken sandwich had a huge chicken breast and the French onion soup was baked well. The portions were all very generous, too.

The limoncello cake was light and not too sweet.

The staff was warm and friendly. The restroom was very clean.

We came to Jackman for snowmobiling and decided to stop here and we weren’t disappointed, we ended up getting buffalo wings, BBQ Ribs, South west Salad, and blackened steak. Everything was amazing the food the customer service. The BBQ ribs are the best I’ve ever had anywhere they fall right off the bone and the sauce they use is just amazing!!! We will surely be back next winter during our snowmobile trips!

The Reuben sandwich, which the waitress recommended, was excellent. It was served fresh, hot and amazingly fast. My husband said that his pulled pork sub was good also but that the Reuben was better! Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. The waitress seemed to enjoy being there. The table’s tree trunk pedestals were clever. Very inviting atmosphere.
We were able to watch the train going by while we ate.
