The Reuben sandwich, which the waitress recommended, was excellent. It was served fresh, hot and amazingly fast. My husband said that his pulled pork sub was good also but that the Reuben was better! Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. The waitress seemed to enjoy being there. The table’s tree trunk pedestals were clever. Very inviting atmosphere.
We were able to watch the train going by while we ate.
When we first walked in, we noticed how dark it is in there. Not really a problem since it gave it a nice ambience, but it was hard to read the menu with such low light. The waitress was very friendly but seemed to be the ONLY one working that evening, so good thing it wasn't too busy.

Good bar/comfort food. The place is stuck in the 80's a bit as far as atmosphere but then again so are most places in Jackman. I would definitely go back but if you're looking for a more typical city experience this may not be for
