Damariscotta Lake Farm is a wonderful venue to get married. With many different areas for a ceremony and reception this rustic and charming location makes for incredible photos anytime. More that just a place to get married, I was able to view cozy rooms and relaxing common areas before the wedding day got started. Its always great to have nice spaces for the groom and bride to get ready with their bridal parties. Tracy takes pride in maintain the splendor of this place you can tell.
High vaulted ceilings in the reception area and large wooden beams make the reception area a dream if you use your imagination. I can see many ceremony set designs here.
During cocktail hour there was plenty of space for everyone move around from the bar to where the food was located. There were also incredibly clean indoor bathrooms and I saw no one waiting in lines.
Finally, lets get to the views. With plenty of parking you at this venue you can take a short walk to the lake. I love making the most of the space, and taking my clients to have portraits in as many different locations as we can.

This place is peaceful - inside AND out! From the moment I stepped into the home, I knew this was exactly what I needed. Spacious, historic, overlooks the lake and close to special Maine towns, markets, lighthouses, etc. I highly recommend this beautiful lake farm and all the details the hosts have added to make it an incredible Maine experience.

I love the Lake Farm restaurant. With friends and food so close to home, what's not to love.Sadly it will close this winter, and may not reopen in the summer.Not only a loss for yearound residents but for summer people, visitors and beach-goers as well.The food is good and always fresh. What I will truly miss is Anita and her staff of friendly helpful ladies who always remember our faces.
