Damariscotta Lake Farm is a wonderful venue to get married. With many different areas for a ceremony and reception this rustic and charming location makes for incredible photos anytime. More that just a place to get married, I was able to view cozy rooms and relaxing common areas before the wedding day got started. This place is peaceful - inside AND out! From the moment I stepped into the home, I knew this was exactly what I needed. Spacious, historic, overlooks the lake and close to special Maine towns, markets, lighthouses, etc. I highly recommend this beautiful lake farm and all the details the hosts have added to make it an incredible Maine experience.
I love the Lake Farm restaurant. With friends and food so close to home, what's not to love.Sadly it will close this winter, and may not reopen in the summer.Not only a loss for yearound residents but for summer people, visitors and beach-goers as well.The food is good and always fresh. What I will truly miss is Anita and her staff of friendly helpful ladies who always remember our faces.
