The Jefferson Scoop is hands down one of the best ice cream shops around. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must stop. The flavors are always fresh and delicious, with something for everyone, from the classics to unique seasonal specials. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the whole place has that perfect small town charm. You can really tell they care about quality and community. I can’t recommend it enough!
This is such a great place to stop after a day at the lake. We like the outdoor seating area. We love their wooden sign that you can put your head through for a photo; it's a great photo op for travelers.
Great little ice cream shop near the entrance to Damariscotta Lake State Park. Many ice cream choices including choices for those lactose free customers. A good number of outside picnic tables. Plentiful free parking.
