I had the opportunity to try Red Stove Farm & Provisions on a recent trip to Maine, and what a treat it was! Fresh, locally sourced ingredients and delicious combination of flavors with many health options. It was so good, that we went back for a second time. The menu changes seasonally, but we had the pulled pork tacos which were amazing and a seasonal soup for dinner. We also tried the home-made hummus which was fantastic. Though I might be a biased because I kinda know the guy that makes the sourdough, The Pig and the Peach Sandwich was the perfect balance of sweet and savory! The new Curry Bowl and those sesame noodles was the perfect ending to the day!! Thanks so much! Everyone should get on the Red Stove Train!!!
We tried the Red Stove Farm today after reading about them in the Lincoln County News. Ordered by phone and the food was ready exactly when promised. The Pig and the Peach sandwich was amazing. we also ordered two of the bowls. They were tasty and so generous that the two of us just put one in the fridge for tomorrow. Gourmet locally sourced food without any pretensions. We will be back for more take out.
