Friendly atmosphere with a home feel to it. Throughly enjoyed playing cribbage, hearing the cook spontaneously sing along to the music and my perfectly cooked eggs. The only disappointment was the biscuit. They were not made with the same love as the in house hash.

We spent three days in Kingfield and ate breakfast every day at the woodsman. The food was terrific and they had no issues with my husbands “off menu” request. Very friendly- great value!!!

I wanted to love this place and thought I did until I realized it’s $5.40 for a side of real maple syrup and they use Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages. Worth driving a bit further to the Looney Moose in Stratton and paying the same price for WAY better food.

We stopped here looking for an affordable meal, something for everyone, and comfortable atmosphere! Serving breakfast all day is a win for me. Great little country stop for the family.

Probably one of the best breakfast joints I've ate at in a long time, highly recommend. The owner even cooks and is the nicest ever just earned a customer till the doors close for good which i pray never happens!

The Woodsman Restaurant has a lot to offer a small community! The self-service style allows patrons to quickly order and receive food. The full coffee bar was a welcome sight for weary travelers looking for a caffeine fix.

The food was cooked quickly and was easily customizable.

The interior sports raw wood tables and loads of logging ephemera which are fun to check out while you wait for your food.

Absolutely disgusting breakfast there recently. Over easy eggs were under cooked. Toast was prepared 10 minutes before eggs were plated so the measly one piece of toast they give you was stone cold. Home fries were raw and about 2 tablespoons worth. This used to be a go to breakfast place when skiing and golfing. Never again. The previous owners knew how to make a decent breakfast.

Best Irish Benedict in the state with their homemade corned beef hash, fresh hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs. My favorite place to have breakfast!
