This was a neat little shop in downtown Kingfield. I knew right when I saw craft beer on the sign it was my kinda place, so we checked it out and I'm glad we did! They have a good selection of local craft beers, as well as seltzers, ciders, pre-mixed cocktails, and bottled wine. They also had a broad range of pantry items including honey, jams and jellies, and assorted meats and vegetables. They have coffee and it looked like there were a few beers on tap, as well as some flight paddles behind the counter with plenty of seating inside.

Awesome people and food! I ordered the pesto pizza and a beverage. You can't beat the quality of all the ingredients they use and how every cent spent here is helping to enrich and bring together the community. There's one bad review here but I couldn't disagree with it more! The Maine Beer Shed is a fabulous place to eat and hangout.I can't wait to come by again for more yummy food and to pick up some more local grocery items!

We were in town for the marathon and found this gem. A fantastic spot and fantastic owners selling local produce and a phenomenal selection of craft beer.We picked up fresh baked sourdough bread and some spectacular local cheese to enjoy for breakfast then went back to enjoy the wood food pizzas which were delicious

***edit, just saw the review from a 'Ryan C.' - This is a guy who gives Taco Bell and Burger King 5 stars. He's clearly not aware of what it takes to run a business that specializes in local, farm to table food, and community involvement that includes recycling programs that are not offered by public services, and includes farm animals. I would disregard that review.I Love this place. The owners are community oriented, taking strides to keep awareness of healthful food and our responsibility to the earth in the forefront. If you want to experience a place where you'll get food made from recently harvested, local ingredients, with a large offering of local beers, and feel a sense of community, this is the place. They are family owned, and welcoming to all. They are always growing and improving this place. It's been amazing to see the changes each time I am in the area.Kid-friendliness: This is a place to gather, where kids can run around outside and expend some energy while the adults socialize.Parking: Wide open parking area, right in front of the facility.

Stopped by the Beer Shed this weekend! Had and awesome pizza and a couple high end beers. Really like the authentic atmosphere and great staff. Pizza was top notch with great local ingredients by the fire. Thanks Kate and team!

The Maine Beer Shed is a weekend favorite for their wood-fired pizzas and local market. Fresh, local foods can be difficult to obtain if I have to make the rounds myself, but the shop carries a wide variety right here in town. I rarely drink, but they do carry my beverage of choice, which can be hard to find elsewhere. And those pizzas. Oh my word. I can't say enough about those pizzas.

This place looks like a total dump. There are several trash bags sitting around and it gives a bad image to the town of Kingfield. It makes the downtown look like a third world country. Not to mention the farm animal installations look like Joe Exotic's petting zoo.

I love this place, it offers amazing baked goods, wood fired pizza, local foods, free recycling to the public, art classes, and wicked good brews.

Exceptional pizza - they use Maine Grains fermented doughs, their own smoked meats, and other local ingredients to make something a little different and tastier. We loved the fresh herb taste of the ramp and pesto pizza expertly made by Will, along with the gin, tangerine, and elderflower liqueur cocktail in a can. They have several local beers on tap and more in cans.In summer, Enjoy the sun in the outdoor seating, the cornhole, and more. In winter, sit inside a heated area (and they are building a new year round space where the pizza oven is located - should be a really good place to be once done!

Located just south of Sugarloaf in Kingfield, Maine, it’s a fun market full of craft beers from Maine, local arts and crafts, maple syrup, produce, meat and eggs from local farms, and more. The new wood-fired oven means they’ve got delicious bread and amazing pizzas, too! Kate and Brian are two awesome people that work hard to support local artisans as well as their community.

We spent a lovely sunny winter afternoon sipping beers (lager and cherry sour) by the fire pit and enjoying a delicious beer cheese soup with homemade bread.
