They are the reason people don't like goat cheese. They must be feeding the goats rotten weeds. This is some of the worst goat cheese I've ever had... There is nothing that can make this palatable at all. They need to taste their own cheese before they package it!!!
Best goat cheese I have ever had! I especially liked the cranberry cheese, but everyone I tried was delicious
Pizza was overpricing but different taste. They have good amount of cheese with reasonable price which are really tasty.
Yummy pizza. Very friendly owners. We got to pet the goats.
Woo-HOO! Dee-LISH-uss Pizzas hot from a wood-fired oven, with all kindza goat cheesies, Goateroni, and fresh veggie-tables on top. Worth the trip, Big Fun in beautiful (downtown?) Lamoine, ME.
We wanted to escape the Labor Day crowds at Acadia and stumbled upon this gem. This is a family-run goat farm that specializes in making chevre style cheese with a Maine flair. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly face of Barbara. She took our pizza order and told us where we could go and pet the goats while she made the pizza. The goats were extremely friendly and came right up to the gate for us to pet. When we returned the pizzas were ready. We ordered two pizzas, one was a vegetarian with caramelized onions and was a simple margarita style pizza with goat sausage. Both pizzas were made using different varieties of the farm’s fresh goat cheese. While we ate, Barbara told us about some of the local area and places she recommended going. Overall, the food was great and the company (people and animals) was even better. If you enjoyed the cheese, there is a small shop where you can buy some before you leave. There is also some amazing locally made rhubarb soda that pairs perfectly with the pizzas.
Nothing special, beside the goats and the guy from Ghana who take care at the animals everybody is to busy to take at people or kids.
Great pizza and such a cool spot. Kids loved running around with the dogs, seeing the goats, and checking our the tractors and barns. Great stop on our vacation in Maine.
