Unassuming on the exterior, the Hen House theme inside is cute and old school 100%. I had the chicken club (I know sounds like a bad pun but true) with hand cut fries and it was fabulous. The service is also super friendly. I loved this spot. I wish I lived closer so I could stop in more often. A neat littel place with a yesteryear vibe in the greatest of ways.

This restaurant is worth the drive from anywhere!! Very good food, I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. The prices are great!! Staff is very friendly!! Seafood was fresh and delicious, the onion rings are the best I've ever had. I can't wait to stop again when I'm in the area.

Delicious breakfast! I like places that do a few things well, rather than a bunch of things adequately. Friendly staff and good food. Plenty of easy parking.

The food isn’t great, I got the blueberry crepes and the egg/veg/ cheese crepes, the crepes themselves were not hot and fresh, the chef should spread some of the blueberry pie filling stuff on the inside of the hot, fresh crepe, add some fresh blueberries on top of that, then top with whipped cream. The filling in the veg/ egg crepe wasn’t hot, the cheese should be hot and super melty. In short, there was no love in the cooking. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either, it was meh, and I wish I hadn’t spent $50 on breakfast… The service was excellent though, those ladies deserve to work in place with a better cook.

We didn't go all out on breakfast so I'll have to update when I order something serious. The eggs "over easy" could have been cooked a bit longer as the yolk hadn't even started to gel up. One waitress was great, the other was grumpy and kind of rushed us even though there were open tables. Didn't seem like they knew who had what table because they both came by to take our order. The muffin was solid though. Don't order iced coffee though it was terrible.
