Four of us went on a Saturday night. Almost had a concussion coming in the driveway by hitting my head on the windshield. Driveway needs to be graded ASAP. This was my 3rd visit there. Had reservations. Hostess proceeded to take us to our seat and walked outside without even asking us. It was very cool and when I told her I wanted to sit inside she didn't respond well. Had an attitude. Took us forever to get an appetizer and even longer to get our meal and were told that they ran out of mussels that was in our seafood fettuccine so they said they would add more of other seafood which they didn't. My husband ordered the salmon which was quite pricy and it wasn't even big enough to fit in my cats dish. The fettuccine didn't have enough seafood or noodles which was also quite pricy. If I had known I would have brought some from home. Never again...
Would give these even more stars if it was possible. Can't say enough good things about our visit. The owner led our wine tasting and not only was the wine amazing, but the conversation was incredible. We stayed for supper at the restaurant on site and it was amazing. Can't beat the views either. Put this one on your agenda for next trip to Maine!

This vineyard is beautiful and the location is picturesque. The food was the best food we had in Maine, so good we went twice during our short stay. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a drink or a wonderful dinning experience.
Service was super slow as there was an event but food and wine were all fantastic!

My wife and I visited your place last Saturday with high expectations based upon reviews.
We were celebrating her upcoming birthday a few days early.
Our reservation was for 6pm and got there about 15-20 minutes early.
It didn't take long to realize based on our server that she was jumping through hoops for the large party tables and giving very to little attention to our table. We were given 2 small glasses of water and my glass of red wine ? was barely more than a shot. People kept walking past our empty water glasses for over an hour and we finally had to ask for more water. It took almost 2 hours before our dinner was served and our waitress barely took the time to see of we were enjoying our meal etc.
The worst part about our visit was the pretentiousness and snooty attitudes of about everybody in that place including the patrons .
I've sat with about the best in my life so far and never felt less than but this past Saturday was about the worst case scenario for service and attitudes. Next time I want good service and food I won't be going to Willows Winery.

My husband and I were introduced to this establishment through an Open Winery Day last weekend. It's a bit out of the way, but once you find it, you won't regret it. It's like an oasis - the tasting room and restaurant are fairly new construction, they have quite a few of their own grapes growing on site, and a sprawling Vista to look out upon as you savor your glass of wine. The food was amazing to look at and eat. To start, we had the artichoke and crab dip - very good combo - which came with a variety of breads. The wine list is well rounded with their own and others from around the world. I had the spinach ravioli in a cream sauce with scallops and peapods - delish! My husband had the tuna board that he said was also great. The only drawback was that the service was a little slow, but it was quite a busy Saturday night, so I'll give them that. Overall, it was a great experience.
Wheelchair accessibility: The tasting room was totally accessible, as were the bathrooms. The restaurant was a little trickier; I believe there was a ramp in the back, and the bathroom there was accessible. However, to move around the dining room would be hard for a wheelchair since the tables are set up close to each other.

We recently held our class reunion here and it was absolutely perfect! Sarah and her team were incredible hosts, the food was delicious and beautifully arranged, and the winery was the perfect backdrop for photos during golden hour!

Great atmosphere, phenomenal staff & service. Food was fantastic & interesting. They accommodated my gluten & dairy allergies & were very helpful with food choice. They also have inventive cocktail choices in addition to wine! We shared the tuna board & some scallops. My friend had the prosciutto flatbread. For dinner we had wild mushroom risotto, a filet, seafood fettuccine, & the Tuscan chicken. We were happily stuffed! Great place to meet old friends!

The views of the vineyard while dining are stunning!! On top of that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the food was scrumptious. I tried the flight of their house made wines, so delicious and I high recommend trying it for yourself.
My husband and I visited for our 21st wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect place to pick. I've been telling my friends and family all about it. Can't wait to go back!

The food, service and atmosphere was top notch. Food was fantastic and very delicious. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the handicap parking was too far away from the door. There is parking at the door just none of it is reserved for people who struggle to walk and crushed stone is not a disabled persons friend.
The private toad in is full of pot holes. Had to drive 2 mph to not twist out backs. The road could use some TLC.
This is a great place to relax, try some nice wine and an appetizer board.
Great place for a date night, romantic elegant and very clean place.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.
We had the meat board appetizer and for dinner the seafood fettuccine and the spinach ricotta ravioli.
Parking: Handicap parking available only two spaces and not close too building. You have to walk on crushed rocks.

Today marks my 4th and final visit for a long time. I recently moved to Maine and tried hard to find a winery with a restaurant. To my surprise willows awake is 25 minutes from me and I was told it was amazing. We went twice during the warmer months on a week or weekend day. Nothing special. The food is amazing. Our server was outstanding. However, the driveway is a mess. Long, winding driveway through the grape vines is perfect, but with pot holes the size of a small car, we had to drive on the grass in order for our sedan not to bottom out. This week, winter, I went twice. Each time for an event. First, Sunday, it was was unseasonably warm. The driveway was all mud. This time I was smart and took my suv. The driveway was all mud. Off-roading would have been easier. I had mud on the roof. I had to take my car to the car wash it was so bad. On top of that, as I slid in the mud I almost slid into another car. I almost fell multiple times as I slid walking in and out of my car. Sunday was a Galentines event. They kept telling us the bar was backed up as we waited and waited for drinks. The food came out faster. When the food came out the girl spilled a pink drink all over me. My pants covered. Their offer, to make me another drink. Nothing else. No comp, no discount, nothing. Tonight is valentines. We ordered drinks and an app. They came out at what seemed like a normal speed. Then we ordered dinner and a second drink, normal order of events After being there for an hour and 45 minutes we started to ask where things were. The waitress kept saying “the bar and kitchen are backed up” I watched the 1 bar tender make drinks for about a half hour. 1 guy. It took him on average, 2 minutes per drink with the other tasks he was doing, like pulling out the full trash. The restaurant was full. No one was helping him. When we asked for an update on food she said “soon” we asked if she could get and update on how long and she paused and said 10-15 minutes. We had been there for 2 hours. Reservation was at 6. This was now 8pm. Other tables around us were having the same issue. We were all sitting around talking about it and in the final request we were informed their ordering system wasn’t working. It seems events are not something they handle well. I wanted to go to the wine event on March 1st. But I will be canceling that reservation after today. I’m beyond disappointed. I booked this reservation for our fist Valentine’s Day as a married couple and we went home hungry.
