I go to the Forester about twice a month. The menu rotates and your favorite item may not appear. It may still be available, but ask your server. Case in point is the poutine.
Noon till 2:00 PM is busy and loud. Quieter seating is available in the rear or seasonally on the outdoor patio. Between 3:00 and 4:00, it's a bit quieter in the main pub area.
The wait staff is friendly, attentive and informative. I've gotten honest reviews and accurate descriptions of new menu items from them.
The food is modestly priced with generous portions.

We stopped in with a group of 15 people on motorcycle, took us right in and set up the back room. the waiter. We had was totally awesome. never had to ask for any drink refills.. He always brought him out to us. Service couldn't have been any better. The food was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating..

By far one of the best places we have had dinner in a long time. Very generous portions, great taste and a pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and took our order without writing it down and never made an error in anything. She was spectacular! Definitely will be stopping here again and again!

Just stopped by to have a few drinks with some friends and family. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. We didn't get any food though on this visit. But I have eaten here a few times and it has always been good!

We always get the chicken fingers and they are amazing. Highly recommend. The couple people that have helped us get our takeout have not been very pleasant. And with a big container of chicken, two small ketchups (or other sauce) is not even close to enough. It’s very nice and clean inside.
