From the outside it looks like your headed into a diner. When you get inside it’s a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and great service . Don’t let the menu fool you, “fish and chips” is nothing Ike the plate with a bunch of fried food plopped on top. The presentation was styled balanced and well thought out. The fish was perfectly cooked and the tempura batter was light, delicate and crispy. Our salad was a deconstructed Thai spring roll, and the lettuce took on the role of crispy crunchy fried roll, except it isn’t fried, it’s just delicate delicious lettuce with a few cashews, some rice noodles and the salad dressing is a dipping sauce reimagined! If you’re in the area, stop, and try this place out! If you’re traveling, go out of your way to visit this restaurant and delight in the chefs imagination.

I can’t rave enough about how fabulous this restaurant is. Chef Jason is beyond creative, and he cooks up new specials every single week. Plus, the regular menu is filled with all kinds of delights. Honestly, this is the best restaurant for miles and miles and miles. We’re in Harpswell, and we go to Flux at least every other week. Great food and drinks, great staff, all-around great! Love you guys!

Waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything inside, including the bathrooms, was super clean. The food was incredibly fresh. I chose a mixed greens salad with beets and added grilled chicken. The roasted golden beets were nothing short of amazing and the farm fresh bleu cheese was to die for. I was just visiting, but if I lived in town I would go all the time!
We are never disappointed! If I had my way, I’d be there once a week!

The experience was pretty good, a little underwhelming. The peeky toe carbonara was nice fresh pasta but needed more sauce, and would really be better with a slightly wider pasta. Tha angel hair didn't help it's stickiness, and the crab would stand out more. Korean ribs were nice, a little tough. French 75 was so so, mostly prosecco forward, didn't taste much lemon or gin. Service was also good but not 5 star.

Flux is definitely a unique experience that I have enjoyed on more than one occasion. Marissa and Jennifer are two of the most attentive waitresses I have had the pleasure of being served by. All of the food is familiar and different at the same time. The variety of flavors blended into the dish is fantastic. On the weekends that I was able to go, they had Prime Rib. It is the most succulent and flavorful meat I have ever eaten. Thank Flux for not disappointing. If you get a chance grab the Beef Jerky before it sells out. Very tender and melts in your mouth.
