Lovely hidden gem in Western Maine. Ended up stumbling upon this place by accident after doing a big hike at pleasant mountain.
If you are looking to eat there, make sure to call ahead if you do not already have a reservation! We typically go much earlier in the night, but once it starts to get to dinner time, the place is in high demand and there is limited seating.
The beer selection is of the highest caliber. My jaw hit the ground when I realized how many Russian River beers were on. Tap when we went, not just available by a bottle.
There's a lovely little European style beer garden that sits just outside of the porch style seating. It overlooks the golf course, very much reminds me of having a beer in a back garden in London.
The wait staff are very nice and if you are lucky enough to get to talk to the owner, He's extremely knowledgeable about beer and really great to talk to.
I saw a few other reviews that were not as kind, but I think a lot of Americans don't really get the concept of a pub landlord. When you're at Ebenezer's, you're at his house. It's important to be a respectful guest.
We went there at the start of summer 2025, and then we loved it so much I think I've been back like four times this summer and I'm sure I'll be back a few more times before it gets too cold.
When we have people visit internationally, this is going to be a place we take them.

We’ve been coming here for years, and every time we return we remember why we love Ebenezer’s. This understated pub on the edge of a golf course is one of Lovell’s best kept secrets. With a hugely expansive rare beer list and top tier food, every meal here is a special occasion. Head Chef and Owner Chris and his Family have created the perfect balance of friendly relaxed dining, and high end food and drink which keeps us coming back. The desserts are homemade and can run out, but if it’s available, the fruit of the forest pie is to die for!

May be the most expensive pub in Maine. My son got a lobster and scallop dinner that was a medium portion and the price was $78. Outrageous. Not sure how this run of the mill pub gets so many good reviews unless they are posted by owners. Prices are ridiculous for a pub like this. NY prices. Go to the Lovell Marina for better options at half the price.

Great food great service and a beer is top of the world two of the finest people on this place you’ll ever meet Chris and Jen.
Excellent food and a huge selection of beers on draft. We had an angus steak burger and chili. Both were delicious. My burger was done perfectly to order and the fries are awesome.
