I can’t believe this destination beer bar has been right under my nose for so long. Really glad to have finally stumbled upon it.

Another table had a bachelorette party, and the whole staff was accommodating and fun! They pulled the whole restaurant into the celebration.

Came here for drink - was truly shocked at the prices ($$$). More disappointing was being served a beer that tasted like vinegar, it felt like a scam

Portions were awful (2 pieces of steak for that price)
Presentation was awful (the potatoe in a bowl gravy awful)
Service was awful (asked to sit outside told us this table were reserved even though when we called they said 1st come 1st serve)

Always a decent selection of beer and good food when it comes to such time. It’s been awhile since I have been there and can’t wait to arrive there next.

First time visiting, was brought here by a friend who knew I had an affinity with Belgian beer.
Out of the way place, but very serious beer selection and good food.
Service was good, this despite the fairly busy Friday night crowd.
I started with a Chimay Grande Réserve (pictured), when food arrived I switched to a Weihenstephaner. A Braupakt - which is a collaboration between Germany's Weihenstephan and Belgium's St. Bernardus. No matter your favorite style, there is a beer for every taste. And it will be served in the proper glass. The shear amount of imported beers on tap is impressive.
I had the Pliny the Younger burger with house fritte. Both were delicious.
The decor was charming and the inside bar well appointed with the classic/old style tap handles.
Beer lovers should count Ebenezer's as a must visit spot in Maine.

We showed up without a reservation. Which definitely recommend having before showing up. Unless you want to chill at the bar. Had the shrimp appetizer, salads and the cheesecake. May I say it was totally worth the wait. Cause it was so good. Definitely recommend going here. And make sure to make a reservation. This place is busy.
