Harry Potter and the Hippy Chick's Stones (not a crack deal

NOT OPEN YEAR ROUND!!!!!Have not eaten here but can confirm it is a seasonal location. Going here during hours of operation in the Winter will look barren and closed.

hello my fam and i visited this restaurant and i was quite upset and surprised that all the people raved about this place i can tell you my experience. first i ordered the FRESH clam chowder soup. very small portioned, and was very unsatisfied with the soup. first, the clam chowder tasted sandy which means they didn't clean the clams prior to serving which is gross. personally, i'd prefer walmart clam chowder cans over this spot any day of the week! when i tried to take it back the server got all upset. i'm not sure but i'm just sharing my experience with the world. thank you

Amazing food at a small marina. They also have an amazing ice cream spot

One of the best places on the lake! Food is amazingly priced and it’s a great view on the deck! New items were added this year too

Have been for brunch and gotten take out pizza several times. It's a very casual, unpretentious place serving consistently very good food. We personally haven't tried much beyond the pizza and brunch, but are locals and have heard many favorable assessments from others about their food in general. And it's a place where you can enjoy dining al fresco on Kezar Lake, an added bonus. Try it!

This place was a hole in the wall gem! I loved it. We stopped here after seeing a sign after we went disc golfing in Stoneham, Me. Lovely views!! We happened to go the last weekend they were open so they had a lot of drink specials and a lot of buy one get one 50% off food specials. All the food was delicious!!! The wings had plenty of sauce on them and the flavor was good ( it was a sweet Thai chili sauce flavor). My steak and cheese was filling. And they gave you plenty of fries. My boyfriend got the lobster roll and he said it was really good. He was surprised with the amount of lobster was in it as he's used to only half of that amount. The sangria was also very delicious. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in the area!!!! It also looks like you can drive your boat there and dock it.

Way over priced for what you get. We spent $72 for two mediocre meals and expected to eat like kings but we were clearly the jesters and the joke was on us.

The best service! Great drinks, great view. Lobster stew was very plentiful, a little too creamy but I am a lobster stew snob! Well worth the visit and don't forget ice cream, as we did!

The food was over cooked. They were understaffed so the Service was very slow. While the server was very pleasant and professional, that didn't outweigh the poor food.

We came from North Carolina looking for a great lobster roll and much to our delight we found it at Loon's Nest Restaurant. My husband sighed with content as he enjoyed his lobster roll (overflowing with fresh lobster) and I loved my Cobb salad with lobster. We sat outside and it was fun watching the boats coming in and out of the marina. Many kudos to Jennifer for her warm welcome, profession service and great attitude. She was the "icing on the cake" for a wonderful lunch.

We were looking for a lobster roll place while we were out exploring covered bridges. We came across this restaurant on a search. We were delighted to say the least! Great service, friendly, informative waitress (Jennifer), delicious food! Yum! Don't miss an opportunity to dine at The Loons Nest!

There aren't many big towns in western Maine so finding a great restaurant can be a challenge. This one, however, was easy to like even if the outside doesn't look clothe it well. Of course, you should want to get seafood, but you can get other delicious entrees and sandwiches along with most any kind of drink. During good weather you can sit outside on one of two decks and/or always enjoy the rustic indoor seating. We got a big seafood plate that we split with a couple of sides and had more than enough. I haven't had friend clams in years so that was a treat. And our waitress , in her very New England-ish accent, enthusiastically answered our questions about the area, wildlife and other points of interest. She knew a lot and we will take advantage of her ideas. Check this out for a great experience all around.
