Have been here to have breakfast, lunch & dinner and never had a bad meal. Friendly staff, a variety of food & drink options, and a cozy atmosphere make for an enjoyable & satisfying experience. Can be noisey when they're busy, due to the nature of the interior.

Just moved to the area and heard great things about Town Line and they weren’t wrong. Service was amazing, our breakfast was amazing as well. Our expectations were exceeded. We will be back…often.

Return trip for Wed dinner. Captain's platter was plentiful (whole bellied clams even:) The teriyaki chicken dinner is worth it. Add the chicken to a baked potatoe and don't forget the apple sauce. Family friendly, family dining.

The only reason I am happy to leave 1 star (instead of zero) is because the hostess was amazing. We came in on Mother's Day with a party of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids). It was not terribly busy when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Once seated, everything changed for the worse. We waited a total of an hour for our breakfast food.. On a busy day I could maybe see getting close to this but they were not extremely busy and MULTIPLE tables that came in after us had gotten their food and left before we were served. My brother ordered the special which we were told was a carrot cake pancake with cream cheese drizzle- it came out as plain french toast with no flavor and slices of brown apples on top. The waitress said it was a different special and she made a mistake and didnt offer to change it or take it off the bill. My husband got a grilled muffin and by the time our food came they told him they were out and sorry other tables (who came in after us) got the rest of the muffins. Our waitress did not apologize she just kept blaming the kitchen. We asked to speak to a manager who told me SHE DIDNT AGREE WITH ME when I said multiple other tables who came in after us were served first. I saw it with my own eyes, and I have 20 years of serving experience. They ended up taking the muffin off the bill and acted like this was some great thing even though we got no muffin, and took 20% off the bill but made it seem like we were lucky they were even doing that. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had and my family and I will not be returning. The customer service is terrible, regulars are put in front of other tables that got there first, and they do not own up to their mistakes.

Boy, did we need this place for dinner at the onset of a week's vacation. I've been talkin' up food in the Northeast to my wife for decades, and we had a 'less than' experience earlier in the day. Town Line was excellent, unpretentious, and delicious. Complete with an all-business hostess, who has probably been there since the place opened. I wanted two things... Full bellied whole fried clams, and the Wifey to try a New England, traditional, baked Haddock dinner. We got what we wanted, and then some. She squeaked with pleasure seeing Pickled Beets as a side option, and we split large Onion Rings with family from the area that joined us. I was hoping for dessert, but there was just no way to fit it in. After a day and a half of planes, trains, and autos, we slept REAL good on our first night. Thanks, Town Line....

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, highly recommend!! I had the biscuits and gravy and a Bloody Mary.
I can’t speak to other servers but the middle aged blonde waitress was very unpleasant. She made me feel very unwelcome to be there with my baby and literally cringed with her face at the end of my table when my baby cried. She also brought me the check before my food even came to the table then proceeded to take the check back once she realized we hadn’t eaten yet. Very awkward.
Atmosphere was cute and clean, just a little cozy with tables
