high tide, low tide seafood market

My experience was mixed. Loved the selection of wines, cheeses, seafood and accompaniments. My wife ordered lunch for us. I wanted coconut shrimp but got popcorn shrimp. It was so good I didn’t complain but when a young man came out my wife asked if there was a price difference. There was and the coconut shrimp was less by $3 which he said he would refund. We went back into the market after eating to buy some things to take home. A man behind the counter started telling me right away that they couldn’t refund the $3 because I ate the more expensive food (I thought I was being thoughtful, not wasting the delicious food I didn’t order). He said if I had brought it back they would have made me what I asked for but I didn’t. I said “whatever” it was $3 but then he adds that my wife didn’t order the coconut shrimp and he said he confirmed it. I was buying another $40 in items and felt he was pressing me to accept the blame for the error. So, as I said, great market, very clean, but I personally did not feel valued in my customer experience so I won’t be going back. Too bad. We just moved to the area from out of state and loved knowing there was fresh seafood market nearby. A petty decision lost a regular customer.

Ordered lunch was ready in 15minutes and was delicious! Will definitely be going back for more.

I live in jackman was swinging through on a Monday (they are closed ) but they met me there and I got lobsters 🦞 very nice staff especially to go out of their way to meet me ion their day off! Thank you!!

Kink little spot! Surprised with ALL the variety, from the artisan cheeses, to great selection of wines, to perfectly fried clams made on the spot. Staff was bright & 'briney' (witty) too! Glad I stopped.

Best fried seafood and onion rings! Haven’t had fried seafood this good in years! I highly recommend.

Amazing selection of seafood. friendly, knowledgeable staff. I bought real parmesano reggiano cheese at an excellent price. They sell wonderful butter made in Livermore Falls. The frozen seafood section is so good. They have so many varieties of seafood and fish cakes. I bought a half pound of Asian calimari salad. I hoped to find a spot to pull over and enjoy it but it was so good I just grabbed a fork and ate the whole thing while I drove! I came home tonight to plan future menus based on what I saw today. Can't wait to go back.

We needed 25 lobsters for my wedding on June 3rd. We dropped off a cooler and they packed us 25 of the best tasting lobsters all the perfect size! Thank you for making our special day just that much more special! The lobsters were a hit!

Love the seafood here! Always pick up our traditional lobster and clams for the first meal at the cottage!
