Vazquez Mexican Takeout is just straight up great. They have pretty much all the usual favorites. Service is great, I recommend calling in your order if you don't want to have to wait. It is popular with the locals as well as the vacationers, so parking sometimes gets tight. When we are in town for a week we usually eat there at least two to three times as it is a favorite with everyone in our party from kids to adults.
This was my second time eating at Vazquez Mexican Takeout and the authentic food was as fabulous as it was the first time. Before enjoying your meal, take a minute to read and appreciate the history of their family operation. The service is fast. I had a burrito and a horchata. I love my Mexican and this is the best ! Fresh made red chili oil and green sauce ! The Mexican pork plate is my go to every time. I do not usually care for meat dishes but this is the exception. The pork and onions done perfectly every morning. Fresh made beans and rice and salad . All comes together with 4 hot off the grill tortillas . We came home today with lots of leftovers and 32 ounces of red chili sauce . And guess what! It won’t last long !
