I had a peanut butter bar that came from this little bakery yesterday and it was about the dankest and heaviest one I've had. It was the last treat I ate in 2022 and it easily is in the top 3 treats I had for the year.

My girlfriend found Apple Valley Bakery and brought some home so my experience is just on the food alone. I am not able to comment on the service or the appearance of their location.I am not sure where they source their blueberries, but they are phenomenal in both the scones and the blueberry muffins. Let's start with the muffins. The muffin itself is very dense and heavy. I have mixed emotions about which I prefer because a denser muffin tends to require more milk, but is also very filling. A lighter muffin requires less milk and I could potentially have 2 in a sitting if I was hungry. The muffin itself didn't have much flavor with the exception of the blueberries. The blueberries are what sold it for me.Where I am very impressed is their blueberry scones. I would drive to Apple Valley Bakery just for their scones. They have that nice slightly overcooked crust on the bottom (which I like), it's very fluffy in the middle, the blueberries make it and there is a light drizzle of a glaze on the top. It's one of the best scones I have had in a long time. Most bakeries tend to create a scone that is too dense, but here they do it just right. If you love a good scone, check Apple Valley Bakery out. You'll love it just for the scones alone! I'll take pictures next time I go.

Bought an assortment of donuts and OH MY WORD they were excellent. My fiance always raves about this place and we finally got to stop in... well worth the trip! Super friendly folks too and excellent coffee.

Delicious Fresh pastries are here! When I was there they were preparing blueberry and raspberry iced pastries for a wedding the next day. They also do cakes and many other things for any occasion. A true gem just outside of Augusta for a fresh bakery. I don’t know about you but when I search bakeries in Augusta the only results that Google returns are for Walmart in Hannaford. These are not the types of bakeries I am looking for! Apple Valley is!
