Wonderful people and amazing BBQ!! They consistently produce high quality, amazing tasting, perfectly cooked, BBQ and sides! Have a chat with these great folks and even visit with Bob the Rooster! Bring your appetite because the portions are huge!

The food is amazing! If you haven’t tried this great delicious bbq, stop by!! It’s so good!!

We stopped in town to explore the lumberjack museum and had worked up a hearty appetite. We didn't see many options around for food but saw Bear Mountain Smoke Shack after a quick google maps search. I'm so glad we had the chance to eat here! It is a quaint stationary food truck area with a covered and uncovered eating area. As you wait for your order, you can try axe throwing and pin the tail on the pig (courtesy of the owners)! The owners are a lovely couple who put lots of effort into the food and dining environment. The food was beyond delicious! As a southerner, I can attest that this BBQ is top notch! The baked beans were especially mind-blowing in flavor. This was some of the best BBQ I've ever had, and I sincerely mean that. If you are in the area and want authentic BBQ, this place is a must!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE Barbecue!! Brisket, beef sausage, chicken, slaw dog, pork belly, pulled pork and more. EVERY meal is about amazing new flavors! 5+stars Just GO!

I don’t get up to Aroostook County often but this gem definitely has me considering more weekend adventures up north. Love the vibe! Axe throwing, outdoor seating with swings for busy littles, kind owners, delicious food and a rooster named Bobby!

Wonderful, friendly, people offering a mega tasty menu! The food was excellent with brisket to die for as well as great coleslaw and beans! The rustic but comfy seating and eating area has a great vibe and is made especially entertaining with visits from Bob the Rooster! I'll definitely going back again!
