Realizing I never posted my review from last summer. Absolutely delicious food..... we had lobsters cooked perfectly, haddock, chicken sandwiches and drinks. We went on a night they had live reggae. What a fun night! Looking forward to going back. This will be on our summer list each year!
Food looks good might come someday
Beers were good. The lobster roll is expensive and just okay, not bad, but nothing exciting. The potato salad lacks seasoning. The cornbread was undercooked so much to be doughy / very wet. Overall the food was disappointing. The atmosphere was promising, a little tight. Great spot to grab a beer, skip the food.
Today was the first day for the season!! I have been thinking about their lobster popovers all winter! I will get some next visit, as tonight I got the lobster roll meal and very good. Chilly night but they had outside heaters. Perfect to have a drink next to. I am looking forward to eating the hot honey chicken next!!
The first time I had the Lobster popovers and Strawberry Guava drink was at the Fryeburg Fair ! I was hooked ! I’ve been wanting to come here and have them again but I try to avoid local tourist hot spots in the summer but it’s after Labor Day and I just happen to be driving by and there was a parking spot . So I stopped ! So glad I did ! The pop overs were better than they were at the fair ! My guest had the blueberry bbq pork sandwich with a strawberry shake and we shared onion rings. I tried the shake it was great ! I’m not a fan of that style onion rings . Some of the prices are a bit steep but Naples is a tourist destination . No indoor seating . It was a little windy . No to go menus .

I had the best haddock sandwich I have ever had! And my husband's pulled pork was absolutely delicious. Lisa is lovely and solicitous and I give this wonderful experience my highest recommendation! Thank you!

Lisa - I just wanted to say thank you so much - everyone loved their meals! - so delicious!!! We’re anxious to go back again with my husband’s side of the family too! But truly a success last night - a great way to recapture our family Maine traditions - lobster by the water - followed by competitive mini golf. Thanks also for holding the bag left behind until mini golf was done. It’s already halfway to NJ!
Again great evening - and absolutely awesome food & service!!

We ordered the connecticut lobster roll for $41 (comes with fries) and the fried scallop dinner for $39 which comes with fries and slaw. The lobster roll was the smallest we have encountered anywhere in maine and there were 6 small mediocre scallops in a strange batter. I drank a vodka lemonade which was good and my husband got a manhattan which was about 2 ounces ($16). We both left hungry and thirsty after a $120 cafeteria style (order at window, pickup, clean your tray after) lunch. The service was also lacking. The person ringing in orders had to ask for help several times and seemed new to the job and disinterested. This restaurant used to be very highly rated and the ratings have gone down a lot recently. I hope they turn things around because it is a nice location.

Servis was below average, ordered an appetizer, and two meals and three coleslaw, we got the food, but only one coleslaw.
One of the meals we ordered was a fried clams plate. It was terrible, burnt, bitter, and maybe 12 pcs.
They showed a bunch of fries under the clams, which was soaked in oil from the clams.
It is very expensive for the quality and quantity of food and the service.

Best spot locally to relax & grab a drink! Live music, friendly staff, & delicious food!
July 1. Food was terrible. Fried clam dinner for $39...fries were soggy, clams were all horrible breading, not fresh clams either. Not big portion for the price. Staff is young and inexperienced and clueless about their own menu items. No adults on site. Food took long time. Was really hoping this cute place would have good food as we r summer locals and like to eat out. We won't be back and neither will our friends whom had haddock sandwich and was just ok, not great and small portion for $22.
This was are first time at the Bistro and I have to say It was very disappointing. We ordered 3 lobster dinners a Scallop dinner and some poppers. It took almost an hour to get our meals. When we got the buzz to pickup our food and got it back to the table it was suppose to come with fries and coleslaw. One of the meals had neither coleslaw or fries and the other two had fries but no coleslaw. No utensils we had to go back twice and get silverware Crackers to open lobsters, picks and napkins. The lobsters were over cooked and one of them we had to return because we could even get the meat out of the shell. We had to order a side of corn which they charged $5 for an ear of corn. The fries and popovers were very soggy and pretty much uneatable. The scallops were fine but six scallops on top of soggy fries. Out of these lobster meals the only thing that was good was the corn and coleslaw. The place is way overpriced and the food was subpar. The band was good though. We will not be returning anytime soon.
