The food was lovely, with a great variety of choices on the menu. We waited a long time (about 50 minutes) for four meals, however when it arrived it was very tasty. Great location by the lake, and reasonably priced.

I got their house margarita and the lobster popovers. Being a native New Englander, I've had lobster all kinds of ways but never in a popover. There were three small popovers and they were okay, but there were probably 3-4 bites of lobster in all of them combined and I didn't think it was worth the price. Also, lobster doesn't really taste that great in a popover. The margarita was okay but it was served in a plastic margarita glass that wasn't conducive for a salted rim. I wasn't crazy about the very loud stream of 1950s/60s Sinatra/Tony Bennett crooner-type music, although my gramps would have loved it. The front patio has nice partial views of Long Lake, the distant White Mountains, and the Queen cruise boat.

We had a fabulous twin lobster dinner with Cole slaw, fries, and corn on the cob. Our friends had the honey chicken sandwich and a cold lobster sandwich. Both were delicious! This is an amazing restaurant not to be missed!!

The homemade iced tea and lemonade were delicious. The lobster popovers and the lobster stew were divine. Even my side salad was excellent. Only thing to steer clear of are the mozzarella sticks. Also wish they had dessert. The staff were simply lovely. New fave.

Wow, the lobster popovers are very delicious, never mind a delight to find on a menu! The jalapeño margarita was quite tasty as well.

Was visiting with family. After being promised "the best chicken ever!", I ordered a chicken sandwich. I was not disappointed. The entire family was very happy with their selections. This is a counter pickup/outdoor seating restaurant. Highly recommended!

For an impromptu lunch, we couldn't have been luckier to end up at The Beacon. Very kind service, great recommendations (strawberry guava mixed drink was perfect for a hot day,) and DELIGHTFUL food. Lobster roll was one of the best the wife had ever had, and my hot honey chicken sandwich was one of the best fried sandwiches I've eaten. We even had a great conversation with one of the owners. We plan to be back! Check out the Beacon for yourself!

Ran across this place at the Fryeburg Fair ! I had never heard of it prior . I had the strawberry Guava Beverage and Lobster Popovers ! Both were amazing ! The lobster popovers were less expensive than a blooming onion ! Please come to the fair next year ! I'll try out your restaurant in Naples next summer !

Most expensive disgusting food. Chicken tenders completely overdone, fried clams were 90% batter and chowder was like a brownish gray and tasted awful. Outside seemed fun with live music and little fire pit tables but the food took forever to come out and tasted horrible.

I have no idea why this place was packed this past weekend but besides the outdoor music, this place was horrible. The food took forever to come out and it was the absolute worst thing we've ever had. Kids chicken fingers were completely over cooked, chowder was brownish-gray and disgusting, and our fried clams were 90% batter. It was the most expensive disgusting food we've ever had.
