We had been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it so we came back. But now they have embraced a horrible automated ordering system using your smartphone so the staff does very little while the customer does all their work for them. It was a complete hassle and we will never be back. We saw another table get up and leave when they realized they had to be their own server. Completely idiotic system.

Food was great. Service was pretty quick. The only negative feedback would be that we did not enjoy looking at the menu and ordering food by the QR code. Did not like that at all.

We were recommended not to go to Rick's Cafe, but after going to all of the other local places for the last few years, we decided to give it a try. Boy were we wrong! We should've listened to our friend who told us to stay away. Ordering on the app is an awful experience! Everyone, including the kids, have to put in their phone number and email address just to order the food. When the food arrived, the fish sandwich with tartar sauce, ended up being a chicken sandwich and after a bite, we realized that it wasn't fish. A lot of the other food lacked flavor. The cocktail menu looked good and we ordered what should have been a very yummy blueberry vodka and lemonade drink. But if there was any vodka in there, I'd be really surprised. For $15, the drink should have been much better! They highlight on their website that this is a no tipping restaurant, but for seven people, $260 is still very expensive. I understand that they have to roll the tip into the food prices, but I've had better meals for half the price at nicer restaurants with better views of the water. Run, don't walk, away from this restaurant. Save your time and your money, there are much better places in Naples.

Really dislike the all-virtual menu, tipless service, and order by phone. If this is the wave of the future, I want no part of it. Dined with our phones - out of necessity - to order, no waiter/waitress, etc. Feels like you're working the whole time. Not relaxing at all.

We were camping at Sebago Lake State Campground and discovered Dose as our special treat away from the campsite… so good, we ended up visiting twice during our trip! Both times, we were met with a warm greeting and consistently great service.

The staff was incredibly patient and kind, even when my two kids changed their orders halfway through. The muffins were tasty, and we especially appreciated that they offered bagels on the weekend. While they didn’t have butter, they quickly offered peanut butter as a substitute, which was a thoughtful solution.

The real star was the caramel lattes! Delicious every time. My son also enjoyed their smoothies. We also loved the relaxed sitting area, which made for a comfortable spot to hang out.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a cozy, family-friendly coffee stop!

We had a 7:15 reservation and had been before so we understood the ordering process. We followed recommendation to put apps and drink order in first. Apps came and were great. At 7:58 we were told the kitchen closed at 8:00. We quickly put in our food order even though many items were out of stock including gluten free options. Advance communication of the kitchen closing would have been appreciated. Great setting on the water but experience could have been better. Most of the staff were excellent and attentive!

Great coffee every time. I wish they were open all year because there are very few coffee options that are good around here.

5 stars, but it’s complicated.

I really do love Dose. The staff is always friendly, the vibe is great, and the drinks and food are genuinely awesome. But it’s kind of a love-hate relationship at this point.

We first stumbled upon Dose last year while driving along the Causeway, and it instantly became a family favorite. My fiancée and kids fell in love with the Flamingo smoothie, Bali Bowl, and Kids Coffee! We’d stop by often—my kids even started calling it “the kids coffee place” because of their cute little drinks.

But then… the Flamingo disappeared.

It started late last summer. We’d go in and be told it was out of stock. Fair enough—we figured it was popular. But it’s now 2025, and it still hasn’t made a comeback. The other day, I stopped by and found out they were out of both the Flamingo and a few other key smoothies. And this isn’t a one-time thing. Sometimes they’re out of sourdough bagels entirely. Even grabbing a smoothie feels like playing menu roulette—what’ll they have today?

I want to be a regular. I try to be a regular. But it’s hard to keep showing up when I can’t count on the items being there. Listen, listen, I know. Who am I to expect or demand anything from a cute little smoothie shop? I still love the place, I just want to love it MORE.

THIS morning I went in to grab a few bagels—they were out. My fiancée sent me back in for a Bali Bowl—also out (they told me they're waiting for a shipment, which is fair. Credit where credit is due). I didn’t even bother asking about the Flamingo.

All that said: go visit Dose. They are great. And if you happen to walk in on a day when they do have the Flamingo? Order it fast—there’s no telling if it’ll be there tomorrow.

Every time we go in, even if they're out of items, we still buy coffee (the best!). But seriously… if the Flamingo’s never coming back, please just take it off the menu. My heart can’t take the rollercoaster anymore 💔

Hostess Haley was super helpful! We had not been to a restaurant that was no cash no tip before. Food was delicious, drinks and food came out quickly and it was a great experience!

Employee here! Being both a customer here and employee has given the opportunity to see both sides of the business. I just want to say how absolutely amazing the owners are, they are very kind and considerate of their employees. They share genuine care and kindness, making employees feel like family. And as for being a customer, the drinks are delicious with all of the fun combinations and recipes made. Prices are a little up there, but totally reasonable and for sure worth the quality of drinks and food. Smoothies are bomb as well, for sure a favorite of mine. Absolutely love working here, and love the friendly faces I've met along the way. Well worth your time and money!

The food was very overpriced for what it is even with the top added in. Did not care for ordering without a menu

The online and ordering system was cumbersome. We were a large party. 2 people's order did not go through. By the time this was confirmed everyone else had got their food. People of our age want a paper menu and to be waited on by a server. Suggest this restaurant review their current process for customer satisfaction.

We ordered a second side with our dinners, Cole slaw. We received a tiny paper bowl and were charged $6 each, ridiculous. $12 for 2? Insane. Otherwise good experience. Darcy is a keeper!
