Can't understand why this place doesn't have higher reviews. You can't beat the location and view, and I had a DELICIOUS burger here. Husband had the wings. Try to boomshakalaka sauce (had on the burger too) if you like a little spice. So tasty.

If you want the best food and drinks in the causeway this is the hidden gem. Their drinks are the best and you will not find a margarita like their blueberry basil or fresh watermelon anywhere else. We frequent many of the restaurants on the causeway and bring lots of friends and all of the restaurants have their unique attraction but if you want the best food it is definitely here. They have a new cook and they have added new salads and more creative foods as well as the typical pub food that all of the restaurants offer. Fish and chips is not that deep fried batter type but much lighter and the best of all the restaurants . They have a huge smoker and their wings and a lot of other foods are smoked. We love sitting on the back deck over the water. They always have great singers and even though they are not open late, you can eat/drink here and then head over to captain jacks if you want to listen to more music. I have to laugh at the reviewer who gave them 2 stars because it was 90 out and too hot because of metal tables….we have sat at Freedom Cafe and Captain Jacks in heat and have been just as hot in the sun.

We came the Saturday after the 4th of July. They have outdoor seating and it was extremely hot and humid and their outdoor seating is metal tables and chairs. They only hade 3 or 4 umbrellas for all the tables outside. It became so unbearable, we ordered 1 drink and left. Metal seating outside in 88° weather is not conducive to a happy, healthy environment. The wait was a little long, which didnt help with the conditions but I dont failt them They're working their hardest. Maybe the experience is better during the evening , when the temps drop but i wouldn't recommend it on a hot day. They dont have fans inside either and there is no circulation. I feel bad for the staff. The location is perfect, it was just so uncomfortable, we couldn't even order food

Wow… just wow. If you don’t stop by this gem in Naples you’re surely missing out! Not only did Sam make the most amazing drinks and cocktails (his passion is fierce in the art of drink making) but they managed to serve us the best food we have had this year! We came in just after opening time and they had a great solo singer and guitarist there already winning over the crowd! We got the smoked stuffed peppers with maple bacon on it. Smoke outside in their smoker with all the prime ribs and the smoked wings! We also got the crispy smoked wings, sweet Thai chili wings and even homemade blue cheese made by momma in house! Also their haddock sandwich and fresh cut Maine fries (hands down the best French fries I’ve ever had and we have traveled the country trying them out) You can also sit out on the deck right on the lake all while enjoying everything I have mentioned! We will surely be back. Many times.. Thanks Sam and the other Fleckers Brothers, Momma, and family. Absolutely blown away with the excellent atmosphere, food, and service!
