A great place to go for a beautiful view of the lake. A great place to go for great food. The staff is so nice and super friendly. A fantastic place for live music. It’s always a good time.

We were pleasantly surprised by this spot, which is located inside a marina. The restaurant is on a deck so be prepared to climb two flights of stairs. They apparently have an elevator but we didn’t see/use it but it’s an option if you need it.
The views were great. There were virtually no bugs. And the food/drinks were on point. We had the steak tips, Mac and cheese and fish and chips. And a fishbowl. Service was prompt and attentive. Almost everyone took something home. Bonus: this is one of the few places that seemed to have later hours.
Parking: No problem getting a spot in the marina on. Monday evening. It may get crowded during the high season.
Kid-friendliness: They have high top high chairs. Lots of kids dining and enjoying the view.

8 of us went over for dinner ,music and drinks. We had starters and drinks than dinner and more drinks.long story short we spent a thousand dollars plus . A group came in with out reservations, we were still spending money and enjoying the music, than this unannounced group ,moved there singer in and pushed Mike knight off of the stage . Again we were still spending money ? enjoying our night out with friends. Than the restaurant came over to our table and asked us to leave ,they needed out table for this other group of strangers. We never saw these people there befor . But we will never go there again . I never been put out of anyplace befor especially while spending money . CAPTAIN JACKS IS THE WORST PLACE TO GO AND RELAX AND EAT SAVE YOUR MONEY .

Went out with friends and had a great time. Drinks were great, atmosphere AWSOM as it was great weather, and the food was so good! We laughed a lot and one of the servers had a great attitude and was very funny.

While in Vacation we had lunch not once but twice at Captain Jacks! We have a handicap teen in a wheelchair often making it difficult to eat out but luckily there was an elevator. We were able to enjoy our lunch on the deck watching the boats and just enjoying the peaceful views. The staff was the best ever seriously they were friendly attentive and happy. Food was delicious! Fresh, tasty cooked perfectly Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious!

Party of 8. Two birthday girls. Waited 30 mins to be seated. Had Steph, she was inattentive , and ignored us. Food took forever. I had surf n turf which tasted good- but arrived COLD!! Two others ordered French onion soup- finally showed up after 4 of us were served. One plate was so late, the rest of us were done eating!! Extremely loud as well. Couldn’t hear each other. First and probably our last time here. To pay $300 for dinner n not have fantastic service is ridiculous!! Teach Steph to be aware!! Of what people need.

Captain Jack’s in Maine is one of my absolute favorite spots. Every time I’m in the area, it’s a must-visit. The food is consistently excellent, with fresh and flavorful dishes that never disappoint. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal.
One of the things I love most about Captain Jack’s is the live music. They always have different artists performing, which adds a great vibe to the place. Their beer selection is top-notch, with a great variety to choose from, and the service is always friendly and attentive.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Captain Jack’s. It’s a place I look forward to visiting every time I’m in Maine.
