The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The building is beautiful. We had a very good waitress and service. We have had good dinners in the past; however, my meal was not good last night. I ordered pan seared scallops, which on the menu it says seared raw. I asked the waitress if they would be raw and she said that was a misprint on the menu. I told her I wanted them cooked. They were very dry and chewy - very OVER cooked. I ate them because I hadn’t eaten since breakfast...

I took a day off from White Mountain summit seeking and headed to Sebago Lake. Looking for a place with a lobster roll, I found Freedom Cafe- beautiful outdoor seating, friendly staff and a double lobster roll!! Checked off on my bucket list for this vacation!

This is nothing against our server because she was great and very sweet and accomodating... management on the other hand... my husband and I went here to celebrate my 30th birthday... He heard really great things about this place from a number of his coworkers and people that live locally and let me tell you... we were both were very disappointed. The food was alright, nothing I'd really rave about... but the cocktail menu... VODKA, VODKA, AND MORE VODKA. Not much variety...
