This year we stopped in to eat at Rick’s after being told a table at Captain Jack’s was going to be a 90 minute wait. It was 5 pm on a Friday and they weren’t pleasant about it. No worries—Rick’s was around the corner and while they weren’t empty, we were seated almost immediately. We have been coming to Sebago for over a decade and this was our first time eating here. It has always seemed super busy and gimmicky but I’m glad to say I was wrong.

We ordered apps (wings and calamari), the Bolognese for the kids to share and I got something from the Test Kitchen menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality. Ordering is via a QR code and was simple, and food arrived quickly and with a smile. We were seated in the ground level, outdoors against the rail. It was fine for people watching. A stray frisbee from some bystanders nearly hit us but our waitress stepped in and asked them to be mindful. Would definitely consider returning again. Oh, as a bonus, they will accept reservations so as busy as it seems, getting a table shouldn’t be a problem.

We had been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it so we came back. But now they have embraced a horrible automated ordering system using your smartphone so the staff does very little while the customer does all their work for them. It was a complete hassle and we will never be back. We saw another table get up and leave when they realized they had to be their own server. Completely idiotic system.

Expensive but only because it is at a tourist location. A draught beer was $12. A burger $24. Had to use an app to order food, it took a while to get used to that. The service was fast once I had the app figured out. Awesome atmosphere, great scenery at the outdoor seating. All staff members very friendly.

I’ve been camping in the area for many years and moved here permanently a few years ago. Rick’s always seemed very crowded and was closed for quite awhile after the pandemic. Today we had company and decided to check it out. The food was great, the inside is pretty neat with some cool murals etc. The outside is great as well with views of Long lake, good people watching as well as interesting traffic with Harley’s, Boats, RV’s, and some classic cars. People driving by are not ashamed to
hoot, beep and rev, etc. so if you want quiet, dine inside. We loved the outdoor atmosphere. A man was singing margaritaville style songs with guitar in hand and was pretty good.I really like ordering via the online menu allowing everyone to order together or separately. I ordered a pint via my Apple Pay online and had it In hand within minutes. If I had to give any negatives it would be the lack of explanation of the ordering process which could have been a bit better to new diners as it can be quite confusing. Also the men’s bathroom was in some disarray, but not a huge factor. We will definitely be back. Be prepared to pay what I felt was $$$. A bit pricey especially for alcoholic bevies.

Not worth the over priced burgers that was about 25.00 dollars
To the owner drinks???? A coke, water, kids Shirley temple and one drink. Even asked the waitress why the burgers were pricy and her response was because it’s a tourist area. Guess you don’t know your menu, 22 for a burger and 3 up charge for a side salad which was an option instead of fries.

Food was great. Service was pretty quick. The only negative feedback would be that we did not enjoy looking at the menu and ordering food by the QR code. Did not like that at all.

Went to Rick's Cafe Thursday August 7th of this year. Sat out side tables . We are elderly people and had difficult time using the barcode to order drinks and food. We asked the server for assistance and was told that we could not have a menu to order off and if we didn't like it to go somewhere else. Unbelievable that a restaurant would lose a $400 tab because we couldn't get assistance from the waitress. Will not ever return. Thank you and have a good day. P.S. There were six of us over the age of 60. It was 4:00 PM in the afternoon. Rick E.Boutot Jr.

We were recommended not to go to Rick's Cafe, but after going to all of the other local places for the last few years, we decided to give it a try. Boy were we wrong! We should've listened to our friend who told us to stay away. Ordering on the app is an awful experience! Everyone, including the kids, have to put in their phone number and email address just to order the food. When the food arrived, the fish sandwich with tartar sauce, ended up being a chicken sandwich and after a bite, we realized that it wasn't fish. A lot of the other food lacked flavor. The cocktail menu looked good and we ordered what should have been a very yummy blueberry vodka and lemonade drink. But if there was any vodka in there, I'd be really surprised. For $15, the drink should have been much better! They highlight on their website that this is a no tipping restaurant, but for seven people, $260 is still very expensive. I understand that they have to roll the tip into the food prices, but I've had better meals for half the price at nicer restaurants with better views of the water. Run, don't walk, away from this restaurant. Save your time and your money, there are much better places in Naples.

We ate here after spending the day on a pontoon boat. There is a nice view-across the road you can see the lake. Good variety of tap beer, decent kids menu, and typical pub food. The ordering system is not good though. I basically had to act like a waitress for our table. The kids food was decent (and came with a frisbee, $3 arcade card and ice cream). Apparently the fries with their meals were good. My sister and a I got a kale, quinoa, blueberry and peach salad, and we enjoyed it. Fish tacos were good and my brother in law’s burger was a typical pub burger. You pay on your phone as well, and there is no place to put a tip-which was unusual for us. It was a good place to stop in our casual clothes, after swimming in the lake, but we might check out another restaurant next time.

Food was great, drinks were mediocre, ordering is a pain without any help from any servers. All servers besides one had a horrible attitude. I asked for napkins after my kid spilled his water I was handed 2, asked for more had the waitress rolled her eyes at me and handed me the rest of the pack. Could not have been more annoyed with me asking. Saw on the kids menu we were expected to get $3 arcade gift cards, a frisbee, and an ice cream so we asked and were told to just go to the arcade because they weren’t sure if they had any cards left but never even looked. Honestly, the service from the people working is what ruined the entire experience. We spent almost $300 as a family of 6 and we’ll never go back.

The location and food was great but for me to leave a review about the service means something from someone who eats out often.

Really dislike the all-virtual menu, tipless service, and order by phone. If this is the wave of the future, I want no part of it. Dined with our phones - out of necessity - to order, no waiter/waitress, etc. Feels like you're working the whole time. Not relaxing at all.

So the the owners have decided to take off scallops, clams, and lobster on the menu. If you are looking for fish go to Bob's in Windham!

The positive part of our visit was the wait staff helping (three times) with the ordering and paying system. Not user friendly. Error codes. No internet service. We’ve been going to Rick’s more than 30 years. Food has been and is average. Mixed drinks start at $15. Yikes! The best part - the view down Long Lake.

Food came out at all different times, I got my meal and maybe 35 minutes later my pregnant sister and her kid got their meal, her burger was raw but we already waited so long we didn’t say anything. When we did ask the “waitress” (theyre all glorified bussers/food runners because they’re not working for tips/taking orders/taking payment/offering anything but attitude) where the food is, she said “ITS ONLY BEEN 23 MINUTES THATS NORMAL.” Ummmm 23 minutes for a raw burger and cold grilled cheese? That’s actually not normal coming from someone with 10+ years in the service industry. Why don’t they hold all the tickets for the same table and run the food for all guests at the same time like a normal restaurant? We shouldn’t be eating staggered meals. It’s obviously the QR system that takes the orders separately but use your common sense and have a method for food running!!!!! Don’t just blame your stupid system, fix it.
