We had lunch there today. Its hard to find good cooking in this area but the chef at Root Down clearly knows what he is doing. Its easy to make a greasy salty pile of goo but it requires some real talent to make a many flavored dish from fresh seasonal ingredients. The chicken wings are not what you might expect and they are spectacular.

Oh my goodness! We live super close and just realized they were on DoorDash so we decided to give them a try. We got quite a few different items being indecisive and only spent $56 for local sourced ingredients that made us feel amazing! Food for the soul truly. The resturaunt workers were heaven sent as well! We forgot our drinks when we left the first time (we got pick up) and we went back in and they insisted we take two complimentary cookies. Such amazing people, amazing food. WILL be buying again. Often. For the same price as Pizza Hut, it makes us feel a hell of a lot better!! Thank so much!

This was my first time eating here yesterday, wish I would have stopped in sooner! Perfect place to grab some breakfast, atmosphere and staff were so welcoming. Fresh coffee and a pretty big selection of snacks and farm stand items. I tried the Pumpkin Spice coffee and the Breakfast Bowls, which were both incredible! (Breakfast bowl had sweet potatoes, fresh farm eggs, spinach, avocado, cheese and tomatoes.) Will be back again soon for sure! If you haven’t checked this place out I highly recommend stopping in!
