I ate here with friends this morning. I had the vegan scramble - it was plated beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. The young man behind the counter was friendly and helpful. And I bought some fresh produce to take home with me.

Best food we’ve had in the US! A bit off the beaten tourist track but delicious home made food from local ingredients. Christina was friendly, welcoming and helpful as we enjoyed a stop off for lunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
This is the perfect country stop for breakfast or lunch. A jewel in the Farmington area food firmament, Root Down Market features a surprisingly creative menu, featuring local farms. There are great breakfast sandwiches, classic lunch sandwiches, a Maine haddock fish and chips, and some really inventive smash burgers. Put it on your list.
