So we all know that Newport has a New franchisee and management. This is the breakdown on what’s happening. There is a new policy this man has invented for his subway location. They are a Hindi scrupulous managing type of subway. You go in and they will tell you that you pick the toppings they control the quantity it always was you could ask for extra green peppers or such things. Now he counts every piece of filling so for a foot-long you’ll get Only Certain number of slices of Peppers. In fact, it goes so far that if the employee is, I saw this girl Put extra onions on my sandwich and I saw this face contort with discomfort and then he told me that He controls the quantity I can choose the topping. I haven’t been to Subway in a long time, but I know that you can have as much toppings as you want reason. This goes against the core values of Subway, marketing, and the principles on which it has upheld its brand for decades. I ordered a double meat, steak and cheese and I shit you not. He only put 5/2 slices of green peppers. And then he wanted to hagle over with it. I am completely stunned I can’t even take him seriously it’s almost like he must be joking. It’s so outrageous. The whole point of going to Subway is getting a nice fat sandwich On premium bread. And we all understand we have to pay more for it. So stop making your own rules up and be subway. I read the policies and you can ask for extra toppings. I’m not just sitting here spouting off I actually did look and I am correct Mr Newport Hindi Subway dude and you are most certainly wrong I look forward to your anticipated cooperation.

Mobile orders are never on time. Stood in line for 20 minutes after my order said ready, and my mobile order was behind the counter the entire time.

First time we went back tonight since they reopened under new manager. The name is subway but they don't take subway coupons. I held the coupon up and ordered, they waited till 3 footlongs were all made and rung up before saying oh management says no coupons. Seriously, what should have been $19.99 cost me $38 and change. They seriously skim on fillings for them as well. Used to be nice full sandwiches . not now and for that price. Guess they aren't looking for repeat customers. To bad used to be a favorite, guess not now.

We went to order the foot-long cookies ahead of time and was told it would be making plenty of them and it would be no problem. We even ordered online and was told the orders being processed. Guess what when we got there they were all out of cookies and they didn’t care They even asked or would you like the small chocolate cookies instead what a bunch of morons

Newport Maine- June 28,2024 12:15-very rude young lady working the counter. I understand things get busy, but no tomatoes, no napkins and when the tomato's were ready I went back for them to add to my Cali Caprese which is not a Caprese without tomato's. I was snapped at and told I had to wait in the Line. In The meantime my husband had finished his sandwich.

I make sure to stop here for lunch each year on my way up to Moosehead Lake for my annual fishing trip. This Subway is very clean, the ingredients are fresh, and the workers make a great sub! The Italian BMT is always deliscious. I highly recommend the footlong on herb & cheese bread and having them "toast" it.
Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring the family for a quick bite to each. With a variety of subs on the menu, there's surely something for everyone. Even for kids who are picky eaters.

Order my sub ask for it to be rap separately in two 6 inch without the white paper and was told I had to take the white paper which bye subway standard the white paper is not to be wrapped up in the sandwich due to it making the sandwich soggy
Placed an order online for 3 subs, they were made quickly, however the steak and cheese had almost no steak and ZERO cheese. The other two asked for mayo and mustard and neither sandwich had mayo or mustard. Not sure what happened here but I’ve placed online orders at nearly every subway in Maine and have NEVER had an issue… based on other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one with this same experience. Remove online ordering if your staff cannot read the order correctly, please

Literally JUST went to this subway….the hours online and on the door of the store say they’re open until 10pm. When I arrived at approximately 1:30, the doors were locked and the lights were off but there were employees inside. If they need to shut the store down at specific times (which I wouldn’t understand why they would need to unless it’s staffing issues) you’d think there would be at least a sign on the door explaining why. I literally drove 30 mins for nothing hahaha. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
Do not order online I paid with the card they overcharged my account and when I called they told me there's nothing they can do about it did the kid on the phone was rude and hung up on me. Won't be going back.

I requested no onions (I'm allergic) and double meat on my chicken bacon sandwich.. received it with onions and barely any filling.. when I returned to have them remake it one of the workers laughed and say"maybe don't eat her then, we aren't able to keep things seperate".. then proceeded to swear several times and make light of her disgusting attitude..

This place was grossssss! We came for a late lunch/early dinner as a family. We were passing through so we sat inside to eat. We sat out back near the booths, and the floors were disgusting. There were no other people in the place besides us and the staff were sitting around chatting. The floors were covered in food and trash. Our sandwiches barely had any meat or veggies.
