My wife ordered a White Russian and it was milk with ice, on vodka and no amaretto, they ā€œremadeā€ it but still no amaretto so the waitress brought out a separate shot of amaretto to add to it. 3 strikes and out! Sent it back. Mixed vegetables were bad and tasted old. Steak and brisket was good but when my daughter who had a $38 entree asked for a Diet Coke refill, the waitress told her, no refills, she’d have to buy another $4 drink.
Hoots got great breakfast/brunch but new owners need to figure out how to continue original’s excellence in dinner!!

Wonderfully atmosphere with great service. I ordered the brunch burrito. It had sweet potatoes which I normally wouldn't like but on this was very tasty. Breakfast bar was self serve with a pick your own mug shelf, so cute. We were on vacation and this spot did not disappoint.

Hoot was not a hoot. We walked in and the seating hostess was borderline combative because the restaurant's reservation system was flawed. Then there was the manager. She made sure to ask the customers at the table behind us how their meal was but had the energy of a nun with a ruler when she walked by our table. Odd since we seemed to be the only patrons who were enjoying themselves. Maybe we appeared too local for a place that boasts about being farm to table? The waitress was great however.

This is the second time we had a meal there which contained undercooked, gamey sausage. They asked for feedback in an email then didn’t respond so I am leaving a candid review. We will stick to restaurants who welcome all of their customers. Could be a great place.

We went on a Saturday morning around 9am for brunch. Not overly busy at this point of the day! The environment was very relaxed and calming but also a vibe. Not boring. The rustic atmosphere was very pleasant and we loved the idea of a self serve coffee bar with all the unique coffee cups! The food was amazing. I got the breakfast burrito with chips and salsa. The salsa was amazing. It hit every taste bud. Our server was attentive and very welcoming. We were in the room with the coffee bar and our server opened up the big windows - sunlight and fresh air just poured in. We live over an hour away but very much enjoyed our first visit and we will be back!!

We enjoyed locally sourced food deliciously prepared. We weee a party of seven and were seated in a separate space which added to our enjoyment. We were never rushed and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very quaint.

I asked for the breakfast burrito without eggs, cheese, or meat. Reiterated to server a few times when ordering AND double checked that it was vegan when it arrived. It had meat in it. They made another but it’s always very disappointing when that happens.

Too hot inside, no A/C, took 30 minutes for my bloody to get to the table, servers and bartender don't seem like they know how to work at a restaurant, as someone who managed a restaurant in the area

Did a cross country trip from California and this was the best breakfast we had the entire trip, good enough we went back twice. Husband said it's the best Benedict he's had.

We were in area on a Monday night and found the Hoot as an option. Was told they do a special menu every Monday night for industry night. The night we were there was Southern Food. We almost left as we aren’t big meat eaters, but we decided to stay and try out the ribs. Holy smokes. They were amazing. The bartender was also our server and he was a great person to chat with about the area and the menu. Thanks!

Amazing food - we came here for the first time in 2021 and we’re amazed by the lemon ricotta pancakes. It was so good we had to come back for a 2nd time and it did not disappoint. Blueberry pancakes were out of this world as well as both of our ā€œclassik breakfastā€ plates. Great atmosphere right off Route 1 and very friendly staff. Love the self serve coffee station too! Thank you
