Fresh, made to order-a but chaotic but delicious. We chose to dine in, somehow it was mixed with a to-go order- anyway- did the get the “you’re not a local” vibe when asked about the food and overcharge. Eventually the credit adjustment came through and all was well.
I would order light sauces/dressings since they are very flavorful!

A lovely coffeeshop & cafe in downtown historic Norway, this place hits the spot from the food to the vibes to the other customers. We were immediately greeted by friendly folks who happily chatted to my 4 year old. Menus were readily available!
Our food and drinks were delicious and made me consider relocating just to eat here every morning!
Parking: Free parking on the street right in front of the cafe, plenty of it on a weekday morning but probably would fill up quickly on a busy weekend morning.
Kid-friendliness: Customers and staff were very friendly to my chatty 4 year old. They have a cute sitting area with kid toys too!

Wow wow wow. What can I say? Café Nomad is everything you want in a cafe. Wonderful food (excellently made and exceptional ingredients). Lots of variety in drinks and food. We got the berry pancakes that were perfectly griddled with tons of berries. And the biscuit breakfast sandwich. Perfectly crispy bacon and beautifully done scrambled eggs. I cannot recommend their food enough. Looking for an amazing breakfast place? Cafe Nomad checks all of the boxes.

Love this place! They hang local art that rotates regularly to feature local artist, the vibe is always great, and the food is delicious and they offer gf bread and take my dairy allergy seriously and make sure that they don’t have cross contamination. Big shout out to Caroline one of the employees who remembers that I’m gf and df and looks out for me when I accidentally order something that isn’t safe for me! That kind of service is above and beyond expectations! My favorite sandwich is the crooked river breakfast sandwich without cheese and on the gf bread. It comes with a spicy mayo sauce, egg, and Avacado. And it’s always made perfectly. I also highly recommend the iced Earl grey tea with the lavender simple syrup!
