Great lobsters, well cooked and ready for takeaway!

Awesome place owner was funny with his divorce stories and his blue lobster stories.
Respect - no prices on photos, but prices were reasonable. Just as a note: he made all wood structures and has been there for 30 years.

Decided to stop in to get a couple lobsters cooked for our last night in Maine. The staff was personable and the lobster was the best we had during our week in Maine.

Je voulais un homard. Je l’ai eu! ❤️J’étais bien contente de ne pas manger de fruits de mer cuits dans la friture. J’ai rien contre la friture mais à moment donné, tu veux juste manger qqch de « naturel ». C’est un endroit sans chichi. Les prix des homards sont sujets à changement. ? ça va être le seul endroit où j’y retournerai sans hésitation (ok, genre tous les jours! Ha!)

The BEST place to get oysters, lobster—even a lobster pick—and merch! I have a tank top from years prior that I wear often, and we all love the seafood there SO. FRIGGIN’. MUCH!!

This place is great!

We got 2 lobsters, and 3lbs of steamers. The cost of the steamers was higher than I expected. I kind of sideways mentioned it to my partner, the fabulous proprietor heard me and explained exactly why. Apparently they get their soft shell clams (steamers) from one of the only places that use a specific method of removing all the sand and grit from them (if you get steamers, you know you have to rinse them a bunch of times and sometimes you STILL get a mouthful of sand)... So I was intrigued.
We took them back to our cabin, cooked the lobsters and the steamers and, by God, there was not a single piece of grit or sand. We didn't even need the broth to rinse them in. They were so good and some of the absolute best steamers I've EVER had, that on our way home, I plan to pick up even more so we can experience them again!!!!

Found this place 14 years ago during our Maine vacation and decided to patronized again. Business practice seem to have changed quite a bit since. Used to be able to go in and pick your lobsters. While they offer various lobster sizes with difference pricing, we were not able to get the bigger sized lobsters. Claiming they don't have time to steam/cook the larger lobsters and only the 1.25-1.5 lbs are available. Understood that they are short handed but why has offer but unable to fulfill? Therefore, we were a bit disappointed. Also, they use to have benches to seat and eat there, but now no longer allow to eat on their premises. Nonetheless, we ordered lots lobsters and they all tasted reasonably good. It would have been much better if we were able to eat them hot as soon as they came out of the steamer.

You must go here and bring lobster to your own picnic table for a delicious feast! Happy we were recommended to go here by fellow travelers at our hotel. We did not need anything to crack the shells but our hands. We checked out the awesome totem poles while we waited for the lobster to cook.

I had the same great experience everyone has already noted. I’ve never had lobster cooked this way and it was fantastic! Just look at how perfect my lobster looked! Simple is the best. The owner was pleasant and very educational. Walked across the street to the beach and ate it on the shore. Excellent customer service! If I ever make it back to Maine, I’ll make sure to stop by again.

Best Lobster I have ever tasted in my life

Stopped by every day since vacationing here in Ogunquit. Plan to stop by everyday until we leave. Great prices! Awesome service! Quality and great variety of live lobster and clams. Highly recommended and way more affordable than any restaurant.

Fresh and clean seafood.
Lobsters are whole. No missing claws or legs. They only select the best from the daily catch.
Steamers are purged and delicious.
This is the place to go!
