We had a great experience at Beach Fire Grill. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of; friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious. The baby back ribs were tender, flavorful, and fell right off the bone, while the New York strip steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy, seasoned beautifully, and full of flavor. Every bite showed real care and quality in the kitchen.
It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the service so right. We’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending Beach Fire Grill to friends and family!

We met friends at this Rt. 1 restaurant in Ogunquit, since we'd all driven by multiple times and wanted to enjoy the fire on early autumn evening.
The fire pit doesn't actually have a place to put your drink down or eat an appetizer, so we just enjoyed a quick cocktail there before heading inside. The other option outside was a few picnic tables, but there are no heat lamps and they're too far from the fire to benefit from the heat, so the cooler temps forced our hand.
Inside, it feels like a very casual local bar with friendly service. The place was buzzing on a week night in early October.
We all got variations from the Smoked Meats and Burgers menu.
The servings were good size, especially the Pulled Pork topped Fries. We also ordered the brisket platter, the Piggy Burger (pulled pork topped burger with bacon & cheddar) and The Beachfire Burger. The food was good and the meat was tender and moist.
One of the group ordered a blueberry pie for dessert and we all commented that it was the smallest slice of pie we'd ever seen. The pie wasn't as good as the entrees, but it was decent, despite being undersized.
Friendly service, casual atmosphere, a fun location with a cocktail menu and full bar, this is definitely a good place for a group.
A solid choice in Ogunquit when you want something other than seafood.

Food was good! Service was terrible. The first thing out of the hostess’s mouth was, We have a 2 hour limit on tables. Not very welcoming. Then the server did not come back enough so we went to the bar to order our drinks. One of the bartenders was just standing around, looked at me twice but continued to find other patrons to talk to but not serve. Once a women who came in after I did, who had a to go order, waved him down, he unpleasantly came over. I still paid over $90 for that one bar instance. I got shots to celebrate a friends life who passed the day before, 8 shots over $90 (no problem but service made it one) and not one employee was good at customer service (what they do). We also had dinner so over $200 later & the food is awesome! I would only do take out from now on because our first time going the staff experience was extremely disappointing.

My husband and I drive 1 1/2 to eat here! Last night was super busy and I’ve got to tell you. The wait is worth it! Our food was amazing and quickly served to us!! The mussels are the BESt! No one prepares them as good as your place . Thank you from Parsonsfield, me!

So disappointed in the service we received tonight. The hostess “greeted”us with a stare and a few words to our request for a table for 6 to end our evening after out to a celebratory dinner, with drinks at 9:15 pm. She stated our wait would be at least 30 minutes. (I thought they closed at 10?) and suggested we sit at the outdoor fire pit in the rain, and we would be put on a waitlist! The guys in our party attempted to sit in the rain with their drinks. The ladies stayed inside repeatedly scanning the bar room, as people got up and left, and could see multiple tables empty & available. Over the next 20 minutes the hostess seated 3 separate groups before us, with the last group being friends of hers (who later jumped in a car with her.) At approximately 9:40, 20 minutes before closing, we were approached by a young man who heard our complaint and attempted to seat us. We stated we just wanted to have drinks out of the rain, and were OK with not sitting at one table, and could split up our group of 6. (the hostess never offered this). Every effort he made to give us a table had to be OK by “someone else”, and he was told he could not offer that seating arrangement. During this time the hostess snarled and gave facial expressions that were indicative of her disgust with our party. A waitress came by and “scolded” my husband for standing at a table which was in the bar room, close to the bar, stating he could not be served if he was standing. It did not make sense as an entire large group of people were standing with their drinks around the bar itself. We eventually were seated at 2 tables and ordered more drinks. Our waitress continued with the same rudeness we had been receiving from the hostess. She was abrupt and condescending. I paid for our drinks and left her a very generous tip in hopes that she would realize, all we wanted was to sit & have a few drinks to end our evening. **Maybe this will be a reminder to all that; the first person you see or speak to when calling or entering a business is representative of the entire company!!!When you are in hospitality, it’s a given that you have a welcoming smile on your face and that you are there to serve. We were not rude or asking for anything more than a table and drinks at almost closing time. To see our party be overlooked repeatedly was rude and disrespectful. The hostess absolutely knew she was doing this. There was absolutely no reason for our party to be treated so poorly. We are local folks who live in the neighboring community and will not be back.
