Location location location. And that's it. Front desk was just off (slow, unhelpful, curt). Restaurant is overpriced, serves mediocre food, and closes at 8pm. That said, being able to walk down to the beach directly from the lawn was awesome.

I had a wonderful lunch here. Parking is available. Staff is attentive. I got a panini that was great but a table beside us got a steak that looked wonderful and some sort of seafood pasta that also looked wonderful!

My wife and I had a terrific stay at the Beachmere Inn, and I would highly recommend it again. It has a great location, clean rooms, and an excellent massage by the in-house licensed massage therapist.

We went here for lunch and it was delicious! My drink was awesome as well! The restaurant is called the Blue Bistro. It has fabulous ocean views. The rooms in season are between $400 -500 a night. Pretty pricey but you get an ocean view no matter where your room is located. It is located right on the Marginal Way on Ogunquit.Nearby activities: All the shops, Main Beach and restaurants are within walking distance.Walkability: You can walk everywhere at this particular location. Metered parking everywhere so it can get quite expensive.Food & drinks: The food and drinks are fabulous here at the Blue Bistro.

Didn't stay just attended a wedding. Nice location just off Marginal Way. I did hear they gave away the room in the building the groom requested. He wasn't a happy camper.Walkability: Right on Ogunquits Marginal Way.
Would prefer to give 1 star so it would be easier to make reservations. Been coming here for over 25 years. Have loved every minute.Rooms: Several layouts and price rangesWalkability: We can park the car and walk to everything we needFood & drinks: On site restaurant food, service and pricing is good.

We have stayed at the Beachmere Inn for 10 years, as we love it there. We have 2 children, and the rooms having a king bedroom, a kitchenette, and a trundle or twin beds for the kids works out perfectly. The location is ideal. A giant lawn overlooking the ocean to relax, play catch, wiffleball or watching the fireworks on July 4th is wonderful. Being right on the Marginal Way is great for taking walks along the scenic rocky coast, or walking to Perkins Cove for a boat tour or a meal in one of the many restaurants. You can walk into town and walk to the beach. We prefer the little rocky beaches for how quiet they tend to be, but you can also walk to Ogunquit Beach in less than 1 mile / 15 minutes. The Blue Bistro serves good food that we enjoy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but we also love making our own food in the kitchenette too. We will be back for our 11th year in 2024! Originally in 2014 when we 1st stayed, we thought 3 or 4 nights was long for Ogunquit. Now we stay 5 and enjoy every bit of it, never gets old and we love it so much.

The Beachmere is my favorite place to stay in Ogunquit. The Marginal Way is a beautiful walk to Perkins Cove to eat and shop. Pricey to stay here and the Bistro is priced high for breakfast but if you drove there, there are great places to eat close by.Rooms: Beautiful big room. King bed and pullout couch. Nice kitchen area, huge bathroom with a nice shower, no tub. Love the balcony for morning sunrise, view of the ocean and just relax.Nearby activities: Perkins Cove, shopping, ice cream shops, great restaurants, kayaking on the Ogunquit River, fishing on the Footbridge and so much more after Memorial Day.Walkability: Nice walk into downtown or to Perkins Cove.
