Great lunch spot! Excellent sandwiches, fries, onion rings. We had turkey club, reubens, steak bomb, and onion rings. They had good spacing of customer tables for safety, and everyone was masked (worn properly).

I have mot gone there but we’re immediately turned away from this establishment. I went in at around 11:30 and they said that they’re closed fro breakfast (even though it was empty but okay). I give her my name, and ask if we can sit outside. She says it fine. We come back at around noon, she says: “we can seat you now!” Us: “can we sit outside?” In a very rude tone of voice she says: “NO! I don’t have enough servers.” The whole place was empty and left a bad taste in our mouth.

This place is amazing. Looks like a diner, but much, much, more. Super friendly, appropriately sassy staff. The clam chowder is one of the BEST I have ever had. Breakfast was excellent perfect eggs Benedict. Love love love!

I have NEVER received such RUDE service ! I went there today. The place was empty and no other customers. She sat us next to her hostess booth. Because I was having a very private conversation i asked if we could have another booth. She said NO. She said they had no other tables. ( the place was empty). When i explained the situation she said NO. I asked for privacy and she said NO. RUDE. unbelievable !!

We arrived at 11:20, took 10 minutes to be seated. That waitress said breakfast was over. Another waitress came over and said she noted we had waited 10 minutes and said she would serve us breakfast. Very good food, thankful for the waitress.
My husband and I stopped this morning for breakfast. We stood at the entrance waiting to be seated and didn’t see anyone for awhile. The server was confused and struggling to remember what we ordered. When we finally got what we ordered it was mediocre at best. One waffle for $7 and it tasted like sawdust. My husband’s pancakes weren’t good either and he finally got his side of ham when he was finished. Worst breakfast ever!

We had a HOT breakfast here and enjoyed it very much. We always stop at Bessies and will again. Highly recommend. There dinner menu looks great also. Till next year.

It was a nightmare. Lobster roll was rubbery and no flavor. The bar was filled with drunks not social distancing or wearing masks but the worst part was just after we were done eating I went to use the bathroom and I could see that the kitchen staff were wearing their masks around their neck and not covering their faces. I was horrified.
